I am pregnant with #2. Both pregnancy's I used injectables with HCG shot, lots and lots and lots of follicles. But since I'm in my early 40's Dr's weren't too nervous about twins. Well... 14 DPO my beta was 609, and now 16 DPO I'm over 1500. With my first the same tests showed 138 and 369. Anyone think it's twins!?!? I inseminated only 18 days ago

Well you were taking injectables, I wouldn't be shocked if you were carrying more than one. How many follicles did you have?

i was 39 with first and had 20 follicles, 16 grew. now at 43 (in 3 weeks) i also had 20 follicles, 16 grew, but 6 to a really good size before hcg. normally they wouldn't trigger a younger woman, but at 43 and having the same numbers at 39 (and only one preg) the odds were sooooooo low. g-d i hope it's only one!

elisa101 i would almost bet you are having more than one. Good Luck!! Im pregnant with Twins, at 14 dpo i was at 216 then at 21dpo i jumped to 4464....the higher the more little ones your having.

There is such a wide range of normal, it's hard to say. That being said, with my twins at 15 dpo my beta was 1450 and 17 dpo it was 2880. I don't know what it was with my singleton.

I am 19 days post ovulation, I had 1st B-HCG on 1/25 of 113, 1/27 of 300, 1/29 of 700, and then 1/31 at 2411. I had a previous eptopic, and am worried about a molar pregnancy. Scheduled for 3rd u/s tomorrow...going crazy... no twins in our history. Any thoughts?
