I'm sorry. I need to lose a lot of weight, but I was heavy before the twins. I actually lost all my weight within 6 weeks. I gained 33 and have lost 54 lbs. I guess I can thank the b___stfeeding. I've heard crunches can help with the tummy area. Other than that, I guess trying to fit in some cardio time (like you have lots of extra time on your hands, right?) How old are your twins? I've been told that it can take up to a year to take the weight off.

My little girls are 6 months old as of last wednesday. I cant seem to find time to take a bath let alone cardio.
Oh well, I suppose I am destined to be a fat mom of twins.
I love my girls , so I guess being fat for now is worth it.
Thanks for sharing

Mine are 4 months old last week. Congrats. I know how that goes about trying to fit a shower in. Mine don't even nap for more than 30 mins. at a time. Not easy is it? I'm lucky in that my husband is a nurse so he works 4 days a week and is home by 4 pm 2 x's a week, so I just joine "Curves" today to try to get more weight off. Congrats on your girls!!!

I am going to look into Curves as well. It is right down the road from me .
My husband is getting a transfer though soon and I am not sure if I should just wait until then.
I need to do something though. I suppose cutting out the sugars and high carbs from my eating habits might help.
Well have a good night

Honey I know exactly how you feel. I'm run ragged with my 9 month old boys, taking a shower is a luxury there's no way we have the time to jog, walk or even do half a sit up before you're needed again. I feel destined to be a fat ugly momma for ever! I gained 30 lbs with the babies lost it all this summer, walking and swimming but now that winter is here and my babies have become super high maintence I'd just rather eat toast all day. I think I've gained back all I'd lost this summer. I'm sure once the weather turns nice again we can get out of the house more, showered or not :) I guess we're no longer the priority, it's just hard to letgo.

Spring is coming and that means you can push them in a stroller outside. Try to go out once in the morning and once in the afternoon and pick a route that has a little bit of hills and walk at a good rate (don't leisurely stroll). You'd be surprised how many miles you can walk in a week while pushing two babies.

Losing the weight is not impossible, it's definately a long term plan it's not something a twin momma can accomplish as easily as before the twinkies arrived. Try not look at is a 50 lbs to lose, keep it daily. 1500 calories a day...it's reasonable and works
