I am 25 weeks pregnant with twin boys. I just had an ultrasound yesterday and they are measuring 1lb 10oz and 1lb and 11oz. Is this average? The doctor said they were on the smaller side and wants to keep an eye on their growth. I just didn't know how they compare to your twins. Thanks

Those sound like perfectly normal weights to me -- just shy of 24 weeks, mine measured about 1 lb 4 oz each and I was told that was a good size for twins.

Those weights sound pretty good to me. were you taking clmid when you conceived?How amuch and on what days? And what cycle did you conceive your boys on? LOTS of luck!

We had been TOC for about 2 years and over that tiwe we did 4 cycles of Clomid with no luck. We took time off meds and then did 2 cycles of Femara- which is a lot like Clomid with OUT all the side effects and has a higher success rate. It is a newer drug that a lot of docs aren't using yet. They go up on the dose like Clomid from 2.5 to 5 to 7.5. We concieved on 5mg and CD 2-6. However the chance of multiples is suppose to be less likely than that of Clomid. But my husband and I both have twins on our sides of the family. If you have other questions let me know. Thanks
