I am 5 weeks pregnant and i had a blood test done yesterday. My HCG is around 15,000. Is this high. If so could it mean twins?

High HCG levels could mean many things with twins only being one of the possible causes. HCG levels at 6 weeks have a range all the way up to 56,000. So, if you are 5 weeks exactly, your levels may be a bit high. If you are a few days in, it sounds about right. Most times though, high HCG levels don't mean anything.

I just asked a similar question, only my HCG level at 5 wks 1 day was 18,000. Have you had an ultrasound? Keep us posted.
