Actually Multiples Moms Moms To Be

I don't think I can emotionally handle Lauren & others anymore. I don't feel I need to beat around the bush in regards to what the problems are. It is quite obvious that she should not be venting her life on a multiple forum. I started on this forum looking for advice, support & to share stories with other mothers of multiple & women pregnant with multiples. Something seems to have gone off along the way. Maybe we can get back on track. I'm hoping that mama-beans, tripletmom, yetanother & so many more of you wonderful ladies would consider starting over here. Should we once again encounter the disturbances of others, let's try to ignore them & answer only the comments that we feel comfortable with. Best wishes!

Good idea. Let's begin. How are you feeling? Did I read correctly that you are on bed rest (please forgive me if I am wrong.. I am all confused from the other threads). How far along are you??? DO you know your babies' gender??

Wonderful idea!!

I'll leave you ladies to your thread, since I am not pregnant with nor do I already have multiples.. just wanted to say THANKS Corona, for including me! It is getting rather "tired" on the other threads!

Hi.. hate tp barge in again, but the other forum that I am on has a multiples section also, and no "trolls" are tolerated! I thought I'd post a link and maybe some of you would like to go over there a bit and discuss your issues, without having to worry about the annoying barging in? http://www.forumshost.net/forums/index.php?mforum=family ( no -)

I couldn't open that site. Should I remove any dashes or anything

mama-beans - February 5

yes.. remove the dash in forums and the dash after family...boy, I hope posting this doesn't get me into trouble!

TripletMom - February 5

ok.. got it.. thanks for the info

That would drive some of these people nuts. They live to be trolls. Trying to make others unhappy is the only thing they get off on. Too bad it doesn't work here.

I think trolls are cute...aren't they those little dolls with the colorful hair?

Ladies, don't forget twinstuff.com has wonderful forums for expecting twins and twins at various ages as well as health issues, etc. Corona - hope you are doing well. Has the bleeding ended?

Med Student - February 5

Wise decision, ladies. I hope you all continue to thrive.

Hello ladies! I'm so glad that you're all on board. Sorry that I started this thread & then took a brief leave of absence however today was fun!!! The rain has stopped in my end of the world & my husband actually allowed me to go on an outing. We went baby stuff shopping! Did any of you realize how hard it is to find an actual twin stroller as oppose to a double stroller? Who knew? I think I found one thaat will take 2 infant carseats. Tripletmom, Melissa, thanks for asking how I am. The bleeding is more spotting off & on now, but the bedrest is still in effect. I'm a really bad patient who defies many of the rules. I take it easy most of the time, but there are still things that need to get done. I love my husband & all, but there are some things that I just need to do for myself! Right now I'm 17 wks. I do not know the genders yet but I hope to find out at the next u/s. The last time we saw them one was playing shy. How are you ladies doing?

Corona - If you have the $$, I might suggest buying the Valco twin runabout stroller. I'm ordering mine today and have heard GREAT things about it. It's a twin stroller, but you can buy attachments to put the carseats into it. I think the cost is around $550 though. Glad to hear you're doing better. Try not to overdo it though. Let us know when/if you find out the genders. You're getting there - about 1/2 way there already!!

The stroller I ended up with was the Graco duoglider. I think I injured more innocent shoppers with that thing. It was like steering a couch on wheels. When my twins got old enough to where they didn't need their carriers, I ended up with the Savvy Combi ( I think that is what it is called). It is a side by side and I LOVE it. It fits through doorways and everything. I actually went through 3 double strollers before being happy with one.

I have the Inglasina twin swift side by side and I love it. It is rated for 6+ months I believe. But the seats go back so far, I used it for two 5-pounders just fine. I had to roll up a few cloth diapers and tuck them in so they would be snug though.

Thanks for the info! I'll check into all these options. The internet has become a great way to shop for me. I can find out a whole lot of info online however you can't try them out this way. I saw the Duoglider at Babies R us (the tandem one) & it seemed easy enough to manouver in the store. However as I keep telling my husband, that's without 2 careseats & 2 babies! I'm only 5 feet tall so the darn thing is longer than I am! A side-by-side seems like the way to go.
