I don't think so. According to my doctor you are a lot more fertile right after you have a baby and stand a good chance of getting pregnant right away. That is why they suggest birth control at the postop visits.

Your in for a ride, I did the same 10 years ago, and just reciently I was able to sleep through the night for the first time :) Yes your chances are higher right after you had a baby, your body does thes terrific hormone dance that all but shoots the eggs out...I remember my nurse coming to me to give me the "don't forget your birth control talk" I blew her off, cuz hubby and I had an awful time getting preggers, and in the end we spent 5 thousand getting preggers each time...until...I coulden't believe it, I had idolized people who could make love and find out they were preggers...all of a sudden we did. I didn't have a cycle at all after the first, three months went by, I was irritable, and someone thought it would be a hoot to suggest that I take a HPT. The rest is history, I argued that the test had been subject to extreme temps, and perhapse it was too old, and mabye I still had the hormones in my body, that cause the test to trigger a + result, but in the end, He is my only boy, and and a real sweetie. Good luck with the pregnancy, try to take it easy, and take your prenatals every day...it is especially necessary for you to manage your nutrition with back to back pregnancies..Baby nurse

My mother claimed she had fertenal twins but one past away (no one knows for sure). My husband's mother is an identical twin. His great aunts on his father's side are twins.....Do you think I am at risk to have twins?
