Made sure to BD every day the last few days. I think I'm done with OPKs... not finding them successful.... maybe I'm using the wrong brand. Hope this is the month. Kind of been frustrating few days. Cousin and wife just found out PG. They have been trying and I think did IUI or IVF, so I am happy for them, just wish it was me, too. THEN--friend who just decided to start trying (for like 3 days) just told me PG yesterday. Had a good cry over that. Stories like Kimmer keep me going though! Give Brady a tiny hug for me! And when you get a chance, b/c I know this will be crazy busy, can you repost your story Kimmer of your TTC journey for us all? Hope we all have a successful 2009!

well, i am on cd 9 and tomorrow we start bding for the week. my dh leaves for a work trip tomorrow afternoon and doesnt get back till wed night so we will have to bd tomorrow before he leaves and right away when he gets back. it should be ok cause if my cycle is like last mo i wont o until day 14 or 15. i didnt really have any side effects from the clomid. i normally get hot/cold flashes at night so its hard to say if it was the clomid. i hope im lucky and it only takes one month on this but i wont get my hopes up. i am too used to af showing up every month that its hard not to a__sume its going to be there this month. the days are going so slow. i hate the wait! well, hope all is well with everyone and lots of baby dust!

Blessings, is this your first round of clomid? I'm still waiting for AF to show up so I can start my clomid. I hope for twins also!! I plan on taking my clomid on days 3-7 i think

Hey ladies!! Congrats to us all on a new year and here's to BFP early in 09'!! Hoping - I think you and I are on the same schedule here. It's always nice to have someone who is where you are. I am now on cd 19 and I took clomid 100mg days 2-6. The only se I had were hot flashes a week after clomid was done and I was also bloated. My OPK was positive for LH surge on cd 14 (1/1) so I guess I ovulated on cd 15. I will wait as long as I can before HPT, but it is hard. I thought I was PG last month. All the signs were there, but AF came 1 day late. Damn. I have been having some slight twinges of pain almost like ovulation pain all day off and on. Has anyone else experienced this 4 dpo?? I know implantation is 7 - 10 days after ov, but I guess it could be that???

Hi Ladies, takingsteps I think you and I are on the same cycle date how are things going. rockybluelady, yes this is my first round of clomid this go around, baby #2 was conceived on clomid 100mg 2-6. DH and I are crunchy (as in granola hippie types) and are really into baby mania at the moment, I don't know if any of you gals can relate or are doing any additional things to help conceive, but we using creative visualization and meditation to see our precious blessing(s) 1st thing when we awake and last thing before we go to bed. DH suggested that we start visualizing them during climax. What do you all thing? We are a bit crunchy as I said before and will try just about anything once LOL.

Hi blessings, things are going good. I am on cd 12 so dh and I are bd at least every other day this week. I should o on fri or sat. Its hard not to be impatient thru all this but thank goodness I have u women to come to for support and to be inspired by. Baby dust all!

Blessings ~ it is funny you mention the visualization. I would lie in bed every night before going to bed visualizing eggs maturing and coming down fallopian tubes. I also took clomid cd 2-6, primrose oil, wild yam extract, prenatals, and extra folic acid. I tried to get DH to 'talk' to his sperm about fertilizing eggs but he looked at me like I was crazy. LOL We will know in a couple of weeks if it worked. I was picturing two eggs (one from each ovary) maturing and dropping, so I have to wait until my next appointment to see if there may be more than one there.

Hey girls! How is everyone doing? Sorry I haven't been around very much, but you are all still in my thoughts. And, it'll happen for each and every one of you on here :) Brady is doing well. He'll be 2 weeks old on Sat - I can't believe I have a son and that he is already 2 weeks old :) He's awesome! Here's a condensed version of my ttc journey. I stopped bc in Jan of '07 but didn't have af for months. So, I went to my OB, who prescribed prometrium to bring on af. It worked, but my body didn't get back on track. I then started taking clomid around Sept. '07 and took it for several months (at different doses). Clomid alone never worked for me, so I then left my OB and went to see an RE. My RE prescribed clomid + follistim + novarel (injectibles). I did that protocol for 3 months, and I gt preggos on the 3rd month (April/May 08). I tried for almost 1.5 years total, but only about 8 months on meds. I know I am so lucky to have gotten pregnant and to have an adorable son now. And, this is a great thread that got me through the hard times. Good luck to everyone!! And, babydust :)

Welcome Krissy I'm new too, you have to tell me more about soy isoflavans what does it do exactly? takingsteps~ it looks like I'm right behind you on CD I should O either Friday or Saturday but DH and I are BD every other day just to make sure. LOL, only_three_shots that was hilarious about the "trying to get DH to 'talk' to his sperm" I laughed so hard I almost fell off my chair! I remember my DH looking at me like I was crazy too but now he is into it almost as much as I am, it's amazing what years of programing, I mean gentle persuasion can do LOL good luck on your next appointment and keep up the visualization........ and lots of baby dust to EVERYONE :-)

I am new to this, but I was on my first round of clomid last month, days 3-7, 50mg. When i went in for my follicle check, they said I had too many follicles and suspected I wouldn't ovulate this cycle... and that I'd have to wait till next cycle to try again. Well, I just found out I'm pregnant! 5 weeks along today. Must have ovulated afterall... now I'm just worried I might have twins or more since they said I had so many follicles. Anyone know what the chances are when you have more follicles? I think I had at least 8. Thanks!

so i think i o'd yesterday. we bd mon, wed and yesterday morning and night. i really hope this works being it is only my first month on clomid. now the dreaded tww! blessings- how are you doing? you think you o'd yet? its kindof cool to have someone around the same cycle as me. af should be here jan 23rd or 24th so if she dont come those days i think i will test the 25th. actually, i think i will test the morning of the 23rd cause i have a dart tourny that weekend and if im not pg then i am gonna have some fun! at least i have something to look forward to that weekend no matter what, lol! how are all the rest of you doing? anyone testing soon? congrats kimmer, i cant wait for that to be me someday! its nice there are people out there who truly appreciate how blessed they are. your story was motivational. well, good luck everyone and baby dust!

The last few days had a lot of creamy cm. I think the OPKS are flawed though and am frustrated. It was + 3 days in a row and then neg and then + two more days. It's crazy. DH and I have just made sure to BD and hope we have our grounds covered. We both agree we think this is our month, but then we've thought that before, too. I hope it is though! I will test the 18th probably.... gosh 8 long days away! Okay ladies, hope you're all having a good weekend!

hoping- i am from ND. i am in a dart league and there is a state dart tournament at the end of the month. its what i do for fun :) anyways, this is my first time/month on clomid. i havent had any side effects this month but they only started me on 50mg this month. well, i hope this is your month! good luck!!
