Early U S Clues About Twins

Just a thought. If you have an early u/s they can usually tell you how many corpus luteum cysts there are (these are follicles that have released an egg). Wouldn't you then know if you released more that one egg and if fraternal twins were even a possibility at all? They can see these cysts before they can even see a gestational sac. Any ideas about this?
