Everything Hurts

i am about 18 weeks with twins and for a few days i have been so achey like i'm working really hard but really i''m not doing anything. my legs are sore (and i think i'm getting vericose veins) , my arms are even sore. my back hurts alitle, and crazy enough even my butt is sore! you know the achey feeling when you do too much and then a hot shower makes your muscles feel better? well, i kind of feel like that but the shower doesn't help. my legs are the worst though, major pressure like i've been standing for a week. anyone who is further along than me had this? in my past pregnancies i haven't felt this way so that's why i think maybe it's a twin thing. thanks everyone.

hey jenn i'm 22 weeks with twins and i feel the same way....i ache everywhere, all the time, can't get comfy to sleep at night. my doctor said my back and hips hurt cuz my body isn't used to carrying the extra weight....the only thing that's been helping my back is soaking in a warm bath. i think maybe just the relaxing a little make the muscles loosen up for me?

I hate to say this, but it only gets worse. The worst part for me was the crotch pain tha felt like I ridden a horse for a week.

hey, i have to agree, i am 32 weeks with twins and my whole body seems to ache all day, even if i have done nothing at all. my feet start hurting if i have been on them for 15 minutes or more and no matter how hard i try i just cant find a comfy way to sleep, and when i fall asleep i wake up to pee.... oh the joys of pregnancy.

thanks for writing guys. at least i'm not alone! have you guys gained alot of weight? i've gained 11 lbs- i think that's crazy. i don't usually get too fat when i'm preg i keep wondering if all this is because of the twins or if i''m just eating like a pig. i don't really eat too much, i just like junk food. pinkrox- at least you're almost there!

Most things I've read say an average size woman should gain between 20-24 lbs by 24 weeks. So I don't think 11 lbs by 18 weeks is too much - there's extra blood, extra amniotic fluid, plus another baby in there!
