I wish I could ignore it but I don't drive (my eyes suck!) & I don't get to leave the house much! This is exciting to me!! LOL!! However Kim, I do honestly hope all is well with you & the baby. I just don't like it when someone asks for advice & then doesn't like the answer if it's not what they wanted to hear. Good luck.

corona.. i feel you on the bad eyes thing.. Im nearly blind without my contacts but my allergies keep me from wearing them most of the time.. And then theres gla__ses but they give me head achs if I wear them to long :( When I use the computer without either I practically have to have my nose to the screen,lol..

See, Kim is trying to tell you all that they heard both these heart beats on the U/S and she's not saying with a doppler. So they did not mistake the placental or veins pulsating. Please read all of this when you post. Like I said before, maybe one of them is growing outside of your uterus or attached to another organ or something. All of this is possible, rare, but possible.

Oh sorry. I didn't know that there was a difference. between sounds on the ultrasound and through a doppler.. :( I guess I didn't pay much attention to that sort of thing.. I just went to my appts and made sure that my baby was still doing good.

If the tech actually felt that there was 2 different baby heartbeats, a doctor would have been contacted right away. Lets be logical here. If a child was growing outside the uterus a medical proffessional would have looked into it by now. That is a very dangerous (& rare) thing to have happen & no credible docotr or u/s clinic would just send the girl home & tell her to come back in a few days for another looksy.

tenk she didn't say that the hb of 156 was seen on the sono, along with the 137 one. She said that two hb were seen...I believe she meant at two different scans.

Kim, good luck at your next u/s...I hope they figure out what is wrong. And please don't be offended by the other ladies here. Some of us are here to help.

kim i just wanted to say that my last pg I had a doppler and I heard 2 hb, one was 167 and the other was 145. Well I was only pg with 1 baby. It was either an echo of the only hb or it was the placenta. I thought for sure I was pg with twins, but nope. I hope you find some answers soon. I can only imagine how frustrating this could be for you.

It's not that I don't like the advice..ladies it is because of how you previously treated me. How do you think your words can now be respected?..be wise and fair.

Tenk..I understand what you are saying and honestly it does frighten me somewhat if a baby was growing outside the uterus. I pray every night that is not the case and would rather lean towards my uterus being oddly shaped which I have been told before. My doctor told me that at this time my uterus is just 2 inches below my navel and she pointed/presed to it. I asked her to PLEASE do a sizing. And to even put her fingers up there and press all parts of my uterus and feel for baby. She said she will not size before 24 weeks. And seemed annoyed at me for asking. I have fetal movement wayyyy above my navel and in places they did not move the U/S thing. When I had my U/S on Wed..She DID NOT by any means move that thing at all. She was able to see the baby when she placed it 2 inches under my navel. She looked no where else. And I'm sure this is normal procedure. There is a baby very deep down in my back that sits in my left hip. I can feel the whole baby and it moves. There is also movement other places simultaneously in much further locations. She also stated that the baby weighs at 8 ounces. Entirely too small for the ma__siveness of baby and fetus from the top of my chest to the bottom of my pelvis in in my hip dones. My stomach is ma__sively heavy and my pelvis hurts at ALL times.

hi, first time poster here, but mother of 2 and on clomid now trying for 3rd... reading posts with interest.. Kim, is there any chance you are very overweight and this is causing your stomach is ma__sively heavy? not trying to be rude but some people who are overweight dont like to admit they are, and perhaps when you are talking to your doctor they are just thinking its your fat you can feel? anyhoo, keeping me busy reading all these posts, been addicted to come back and read them and even made me sign up !

It's not heavy from fat...no offense taken. It's heavy from contents.

Why can you not except the medical prove that you're having only 1 perfect child? Why is that not good enough for you?

KimMcCloud - April 17

It's not a matter of not accepting the medical proof. It's the fact when I lay in my bed at night "What" is going on inside my body doesn't coincide with the doctors. I don't have mental problems, nor do I want something so bad my mind plays tricks on me. I am just plain Ol' being REAL. I believe it will show up eventually "medically". But for now I have to be real with myself. Maybe that's something you will never understand. I mean no harm, disrespect, nor do I wish to argue with you.

My aunt said she will examine me herself and to come over this weekend. She has been a nurse for 30 years and has a__sisted some of the most pretigious surgeons. She said in her own words "If you say there is more then one in there..I'm pretty sure there is." even knowing I have has several U/S. And she said that everything is medically possible and Doctors only know what a test says and nothing beyond. So she sid she will try to feel for me..

When will enough be enough?
