When will enough be enough?

what's the point? and enough of what?

KimMcCloud - April 17

I have never wanted twins Nor have I ever thought I was having any with my other pregnancies.

KIm, well anything is possible, just not plausible. Twins missed at the gestation is very, very, very rare....less than 1%. Twins missed by several sonos after 15 weeks just doesn't happen. I'm not trying to be rude or mean, but sono technology is like a moving picture inside your womb. Feeling things go on inside is less accurate than the actual picture of the actual womb. Many ladies were very confused about constant movement and movement that in no way could be attributed to one baby. But it was. I know you don't care about my stats as this is your experience but I am trying to be helpful and not rude for once (call it turning over a new leaf).

twins4us...I for one have not found you to be rude. I think you & I may feel the same thing though...frustration. That can sometimes con accross as being rude. Medical techology to day is pretty advanced yet some people are still unable to see what is right in front of them. I'm sorry, but Kim you have been rude to many people when they have not agreed with you. You have poked fun at others for not knowing their own bodies as well as you know yours. Why can't you just admit the truth...you don't know yours as well as you thought. You are wrong! You are only having 1 child. 1 perfect & healthy child. Stop ruining your pregnancy with thoughts of more. Enjoy this time, enjoy you child. All this other stuff is preventing you form a wonderful eperience & that is being unfair to yourself & that innocent baby. Just stop.

could be parasites like a tapeworm

LauraEssary - April 17

I thought the same thing..I didn't want to post it though, but yeah I was reading about this colon cleansing thing today and was reading about all of the people who had worms and had no clue. There were a couple of people though that said that they always sort of felt something that was kinda like movement (resembled when they were pregnant) and then it was gone after the colon cleansing thing and they actually saw worms in the toilet!!!! Yeah I know, gross! Anyway I think I'm gonna do the colon cleansing thing because sometimes I would just swear I feel movement similar to when I was pregnant, kinda like flutters but its stuff that I know isn't gas.Up until today I just thought it was tummy rumblings (weird ones though) but now I'm worried about worms,lol.. I shiver just thinking about that... YUCK!

i have found many people on health forums are talking about this very same thing and thinking parasites since they know they are not pregnant and the doctors can't find what it is and just tell them it is gas. i would freak about a tapeworm. those things get huge and you have to kill and get rid of the whole thing or it will keep growing from the pieces that are left. how do you get stuff like this? undercooked or contaminated food? insect bites? what?

YUCK!!!

quote '' I have never wanted twins'' you should never say things like that it might come back to haunt you if you ever have to be the poor mum in scbu looking at your twins dying.... believe me. any babies are a gift and you chould be pleased you get what you can cope with. i really do believe you only have 1 baby though.. really if the sono is saying 1, well you have to believe that till you see otherwise.

On the colon cleansing website its said you can get worms from undercooked food and you pet. I've always heard you can get hook worms from walking outside without shoes. And as for the other kind... This is my though process on it: Most animals get fleas at some point in their life.. They get worms by swollowing the fleas on accident while scratching with their mouths.. We'll what if your dog/cat sleaps on your bed or your couch, or even your floor and you just happen to be playing with your youngin on it.. We unknowingly one might somehow jump in your mouth (I've heard of weirder things and can really see this as a possibility if your sleeping).. well low and behold you now have worms.. Yeah it really isnt as far fetched an idea a it used to be now was it? I can imagine that you can probably get them from flies coming into contact with your food even after its been cooked too.. And then of course there is the case of food poisoning you've had probably at least once in your life.. I imagine 9 times out of 10 that uncooked meat had some sort of worm or worm egg in it..... Yeah pretty disgusting.. I'm definitely gonna buy that colon cleansing thing.. I will probably faint though if a worm comes out of me but I'll be glad to have gotten rid of it. ECK!

OK!!! Everytime I come on this forum, most of the questions i see are related to KimMcloud in some way. I agree with denimb___terfly in that Kim is just looking for attention. Im sure everyone wishes Kim a happy, healthy pregancy and the only reason there are nasty comments on here is because Kim started them. I think we should just wish her the best and ignore her in future, she is wasting perfectly good space on a much needed forum with her lies and aggresion. Just Go Away Kim!! But if you do have the need to ask anything GENUINELY then you should expect answers from anyone here whether you want them or not. and if you trully do not want them just stop posting and wasting peoples time.

Yes YAS I had my babies. They are beautiful 10 month old boy/girl twins. & they are my entire worls. They were preemies with all the worry that comes with that. I was on bed rest for 11wks before they arrived & my pelvis was separated. However my healng did not take nearly as long as my childrens healing. That is still a work in progress. This is something that happens with twins/multiples more often that not. I have nurses, pysiotherepits, occupational therepists & other proffessionals in almost everyday working with them. I don't know what it's like in the US, but here, these treatments are not all covered & so it is coming out of our pockets. This is something those "wishing" for twins/multiples need to grow-up & realize. It is not all sunshine and roses!! For sure there are those who have not had any difficulty with multiples & there are those who have had the same issues with singletons, however the risks are higher the more babies you have at once. Please "ladies", if you are looking for advice, then look at the whole picture!!! KIM...did you have the other u/s today? Were they able to find anything els, any answers for you? I'm sure you are very stressed out & concerned about what is happening. You have every right to be. I honestly hope that they are unablt to find anything wrong with you & that you can go on to have a joyfull & successful pregnancy. Best wishes.

"I agree with denimb___terfly in that Kim is just looking for attention." sigh sigh..I am no where's near this type of person. I am not seeking attention whatsoever. I'm just being real. Like I stated before. If his was my first pregnancy I wouldn't know something was wrong.
