I found out that I was having twins at 9 weeks, but did not hear the heatbeat. Do you think they are ok still? Also, I'm 4'10 and weighted 110lbs and the doctor said that the babies are smaller then they are suppose to be at 9 weeks. Do I have a reason to worry?
Thanks

It is extremely difficult to hear the heartbeats at 9 weeks. Most ob's don't even try till like 12 weeks. If you're totally paranoid (like I was b/c I suffered a m/c right before I got pregnant with these kiddos), you can try renting a fetal doppler to use at home. I got mine through fetalsure.com. It's not that expensive, they work great and I heard both heartbeats by 11 weeks. When is your next u/s scheduled for? Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

I'd be careful with your expectations using a fetal doppler. I had an ultrasound at 8 wks in which we heard good strong heartbeats. But when I saw the doctor a week later, he said that he wouldn't be able to hear anything on a doppler yet. I'd advise just going back for an ultrasound in a week or two. Its hard to wait, but obsessing over whether you can hear something yourself at home each day is significantly stressful as well.

i am 6 weeks pregnant with twins and had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and 4 days they found both the babies heartbeats you should ask to have another one and make sure that heartbeats are seen for your own peace of mind
