Hi, I also ordered Clomid off the net. Fertomid to be exact and it's got an experation date, mfgr, ingredients, and in a blister pack. I started taking 100mg CD 1-5. On 3rd pills as we speak. Not too many side effects, slight head ache, moody. Nothing abnormal for AF time...good luck.

I have 3 yr old twin boys from clomid (150mg days 5-9). I also have a daughter not from clomid. I am trying for #4 with clomid again hoping not to have twins. My first delivery was horrifying.

Hi Aleksandra I 've been doing some research for couple of months now and here's some info I came up with, The timing of Clomid, when do you start taking it. The traditional timing is to start on cycle day 5 for five days (CD 5-9.) Ovulation then happens as early as five days and as late as nine days after the last pill. So if you take it last on CD 9, then ovulation can happen on CD 14-19. Some doctors start Clomid on CD 2. So you would take in CD 2-6. In that case ovulation happens CD 11-CD 15. There is no absolute which day to start is better, and different women react differently. But most doctors still suggest taking it CD 5-9. Clomid are taken on days 5-9 of your cycle or, less typically, on days 4-8 or 3-7. There is some preliminary research that indicates that an earlier start date may result in more pregnancies, but most gynecologists continue to prescribe it for days 5-9. One recent study actually tried prescribing Clomid on cycle days 1-5. While none of the participants in their day 5-9 group resulted in pregnancy, 24 percent of the women who took Clomid on days 1-5 were able to conceive and if your taking it on your own, and trying for twins it's better to take it days 2-6 & 3-7, because your body makes more eggs when you take it earlier. There is a school of thought that states that these eggs are also more likely to be immature but the fact that so many have had success with the earlier days may bear more weight than the risk of immature eggs. Hi. I took Clomid for late ovulation days 4-8 @150mg and became pregnant my 1st month. Is there any thing that says the higher the dose the greater chance of multiples? My sister had a disappearing twin pregnancy . Does this make it hereditary? I am 31 and 7 weeks pregnant today. Any help is greatly appreciated! Twins would be great!

Hello Veronica and everyone! I am sitting here in tears as I am writing. On Thursday I was not feeling good and I bought a set of 2 pregnancy tests and they both were positive. I couldn't believe this after 2 years of ttc. I couldn't believe that the Clomid i ordered wouldn't be necessary. And 2 days later I started to bleed right after I...masturbated....and I went to the ER as it was Friday night. I wanted that pregnancy so much but my bleeding was with cloths already and I miscarried. I cannot describe with words what gult I feel right now. The doctor said that what I did wouldn't have caused miscarrige, that my body just doesn't want to be pregnant, but I know that the doctor just didn't want me to feel bad. I do not want to live right now. I feel worse...like a murderer.

On Wednesday I have to go to check if the blood came out to normal, but I do not care anymore. What for if it is dead?

Forgive me for this post. I do not want anyone to feel bad. If you get pregnant take care about this, do not take a hot shower, do not smoke, do not do what I did, because if you loose it you would not forgive yourself.

I would be happy to have one, just one. I do not want to get pregnant with twins and to miscarry again. I wouldn't be able to take it.

Aleksandra you really need to educate yourself before you have a child. As the Dr said masturbation does NOT cause M/C. How many DPO where you when you tested. Had A/F been late. If you tested to early it could well ahve been a chemical pregnancy and if you had waited till A/F was late you would never have known.
