what does it mean if I have one sac with two
different heartbeats? I have been told most
women have two different sacs; each baby in a
single sac.

that means you have two babies and they are identical.

having 2 sacs and each baby in a single sac means they are non-identical twins...but in your case where u have 2 babies in one sac, dat mean ur babies are identical...how cute ;o)

Definitely Identical! That is why they are sharing a sac. You can have an identical in a separate sac too but you can't have a fraternal in the same sac.
