I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins. My twins are in the same sack and sharing the same placenta. Can they be identical twins?

If they are sharing a placenta and sack they are probably identical. You can have zygosity testing done after they are born to be sure.
At birth, My b/g fraternal twins were found to be sharing a common placenta.... but the docs believe that their placentas fused late in pregnancy.
I' m mentioning this because there are so many variables in a multiple pregnancy... you could have unique situation as I did.
Good luck with your pregnancy and the twins. My two amaze me every day.

sandy is right - since they are sharing a sac they are most likely identical...

I am 22 wks pregnant with twins....2 separate sacks with one cord = another possibility for identical twins. U/S showed 2 girls. U/S technician said probably identical.

I am 11 weeks with identical twins and they told me they were identical at 7 weeks. The u/s showed one sac, with a membrane separating them, but sharing one placenta. It sounds like yours are identical, too!
