Wow cb- I saw that on the news the other day.....never in a million years would I think I would "know" someone affected by it! Holy cow- thank God no one was hurt! Babies slept thru it all.... a saving grace, eh? I hope the house is repaired soon and hope you get thru this time with minimal stress- I know how that can affect you. My boys are doing really well. They are gaining lots of weight and are very healthy for being so premature. No medical problems at all. They are 4 months old today- I can't believe it! They are starting to coo and they smile alot now. No laughing yet- but that's sure to come pretty quick. However, they are teething- yes, teething! OMG- they both have 2 bottom teeth starting to work their way up. Not pushed through the gums yet, but we have a lot of drooling going on! LOL How are your girls Candice? How about all of you other girls? How are your pregnancies coming along?

Hi Ladies! CB, hope everyone is doing well! My girls have been on formula now for about a month, I stopped b___st feeding at 4 mos due to lack of milk! I was amazed I made it that long, my other girls I only fed until 3mos, so I was quite happy! Every little bit helps, especially in the first few weeks! Michelle, glad to hear the boys are doing so well! Isn't it amazing to see them smiling! I can't believe teeth already, how is it going! Grouchy or not bad?? I am worried about teething time, can't imagine both of them at the same time! WOW! Our girls are doing awsome, haven't had them weighed in a while, last time was at 4 mos and they were just over 12lb, they are 5 mos now and getting so big and strong! They love to stand up and sit, no more laying around for them! They giggle now and are such wonderful babies! I can't help but brag about them, they are awsome! They only cry when something is wrong and other than that they are as happy as can be! They have been sleeping through the night since 3 mos old and we have them on a really good routine. I find as long as we stick to it things go smoothly! Good Luck to all of you still pregnant out there, and keep us posted on how the pregnancies are going! CB I have been thinking about you and your family and I hope everything goes well with repairs and you get home soon!

Hi ladies. Everything here is going pretty well. Cant wait to be in me own place again but!!! Its hard living with other people with 3 young children!! There twins and jakub just keep fighting all the time, its driving me up the wall!!! We wernt be moving back into our place though, my partner got a new job in another town before all this happened, so we were moving anyway, just cant get hold of a place up there! Our house here got a bit damaged, so it will be a while before it is livable again! a lot of carpet got wet, due to the hole in the roof, so now all the floor boards are rotting, and will need replacing! And the poor owner never had that house insured, so he just found out :( so my partner wants to help him fix it, as we never paid any rent while we were living there! The girls are going really well, had them weighed on tuesday, Ahliyah was 3.4kg and Ryleigh was 2.95kg. Dont know what it is in lbs sorry... It has been really hot here the last couple of days cause of the cyclone, but we have also had quiet a bit of rain.. We are expected to have no power here for a couple of months, but thankfully we bought a generator yesterday, up untill then we were hiring one, but that was working out too expensive!! Thats good Candice that your girls started sleeping through at 3 months, hope my girls do too!! My son never started untill he was about 2 years old!!! The girls are feeding about 9-10ish pm, than going till bout 3am, than 7-8ish am! So that is pretty good!!! But my son has been restless during the nite, just not being in his own surroundings!!! Glad to here that you are all doing really well, and will talk again soon! Take care xox :))

forgot to say Michelle I know how it is to have them teething so young, my son got his first 2 teeth at 3 months and 12 days old!!! He had all his teeth at about 18 months old, including the two year old moulders!!! And also my girls are 5 weeks old today, cant beleive how fast it is going!!

Hi Ladies! CB, I know how it feels to live with family and to have it drive you crazy! When my husband and I moved to where we are now, we lived with his brother for 2 months until our house was ready! NOT something I would do again! They only have one kid but he is so spoiled that my girls coudn't do anything without him getting them into trouble! Hang in there and hope you get to your own place soon! Good to hear that the girls are doing good. They are sleeping real well! What type of formula do you have them on? My girls are on the Similac Advance, but I am thinking of maybe switching to a cheaper brand, i don't think there is any less nutrition just about $10 in the price! We are going through so much that if I could buy it cheaper and still have the same nutritional value why not! My girls are starting to teeth as well! There little cheeks are so rosy and they are constantly chewing on everything! Well talk to everyone soon!

hi girls, well we finally have our own place again :)) and it feels so good!!! Things were starting to get a bit stressfull at my partners brothers place!! There twins are also spoilt, everything they done somehow always got my son into trouble! Really started to get on my nerves! So we are lucky we went when we did! Well the girls are doing great, they had there tb needles last wednesday! And have there 2 month immunisation needles next week! The formula they are on is S-26. It is starting to get cool here now, and also geting a bit of rain, there is another cyclone due to hit north of us today! Luckily we are only going to get rain from this one! I was thinking if you's would like to exchange e-mails, and exchange photos & keep in touch that way!! Here is my email chelle_b@qld.chariot.net.au Well hope to hear from you soon!!! Take care xox

Hey! Good to here you have your own place! Must be a big relief. CYE- I sent a pic of the boys. my email is askmimi@msn.com. They are getting big. Corbin is sleeping through the night, but Spencer isn't. *sigh* oh well- he'll get there! I'm taking a trip to my old office and dh's office today. Our big outing. First time our coworkers have seen the babies unless they've been by our house. I quit my job about a month ago to stay home with the babies. I'm really enjoying it, but I do miss my coworkers. Hope all is well with everyone.

Hi everyone. I hope all is going well with the mommys and mommys to be. I went to my 30 wk appt yesterday and they told me they would prefer me to have a c section for the safety of the babies and for myself. I just dont see why. im terrified of having a csection. :( PLease let me know what you all think.. and any good argument i could give to my docs on their thinking... talk to you all soon Tara

Hello Ladies; I couldn't help and I read every single one of your conversations. I'm 22 weeks pregnant with twins. One will be a boy and the other one won't show. I'm a bit scared because at first I was bleeding and cramping. Last night I was cramping and had a terrible back pain. I don't know if this could be contractions or not today it still hurts but no much. Can any one let me know if they had this during pregnancy. Congrats to all of you who had their babies. I just hope I get my Lil Girl I already have 2 boys ages 4 and 3. Help me please.

mommy_mimi - April 20

Tara, why did they say it would be better to have a c-sec- are they breech? I was scheduled to have a c-sec in Dec because they were breech, and if they had turned I would still deliver in the c-sec room in case there were complications. As it was, one did turn and I had them 2 months early- the first v____ally and the 2nd by c-section. It really was not bad and the recovery was not too painful. The worst of it was just the 1st couple of days, and you're in the hospital then and they give you pain meds to get thru. I actually only used the pain meds the first day. HTH. Liz you could be having contractions- you should call your doctor. I had contractions about a week or so before I went into PTL, but they weren't causing me to dilate. Its always good to keep your doctor informed of what's going on-that's what they're there for! Good luck to all of you!

yetanothertripletmom - April 20

Liz- Please call your doctor right away! It sounds like something that needs to be looked at by your doctor.

TaraBush - April 25

Hi... one is breech... but its baby b and they said as long as a was heads down i could go for a v____al delivery.. yet the doctor I saw this last time said it was not safe... and of course it freaked my husband out. Now I'm worried that if I push for the v____al and something goes wrong then I will never forgive myself.. let alone will anyone else let me forgive myself... having been told by the doctor to do the c section. I tell you this has been the most trying pregnancy... which can only mean that it will be a very rewarding one :) tell me what you think. Tara

hi cd, iam from austrlian also iam having twins due on the 6/11 dont know if it a girl or boy hoping for a girl and a boy

cb - April 25

Hi ladies!! sorry i havnt been on for a while, been busy unpacking and the kids!!! I cant beleive that the girls are already 2 months old (yesterday).. It is going so fast!! I have to book them in to get there first immunisation needles!!! Poor girls. Tarabush, has the doctor said why it will be dangerous to try for a natural birth? Both my girls were head down, but the doctor said as long as the presenting baby was head down then we could go natural. Whether it was A or B. The doctors here like to give an epidural, just incase they need to do an emergency c-section, so it is all in place! Good luck with it anyway! Hi jnine29, where abouts in Australia are you from? How many weeks along are you? Do you know if they are identical or not? Sorry with all the questions!!! Would love to hear back from you!! Well my girls are singing out for me, so i betta go :)) take care and talk soon xox
