implantation would take place within 24 hours not 3 days apart.

I have heard that it can even take up to 5 days. maybe it is twins. Or it could be left over bleeding from initial implantation. Have you tested. Good Luck!

Implantation can take place in a pretty wide range of time. I've heard anywhere from 5-10 days. It is then possible to have one fertilized egg make a quicker trip than another down the tubes to implant.

not necessarily, I had absolutely no implantation bleeding and I'm having twins...

I had slight brownish spotting one day/one occurrence only, and then slight pinkish-red spotting one day/one occurrence only, with two days in between. Could this mean implantation bleeding occurred twice, and possibly suggest twins?

twins4us~ovulation...multiple ovulation occurs within 24 hours-not implantation. The rest of the posters sound correct...implantation is not an exact science and can take quite a range of days to implant. It is possible to have 2 separate implants on 2 separate dates...so again possible to have 2 separate implantation bleeding occurances. Keep in mind, it could also be 2 bleedings from the same single implantation. Sometimes there is secondary bleeding and does not mean a second egg. Good luck! God bless.

hi i have had simular , i went to the toilet and wiped pink blood then nothing untill a day later when the same happened again and nothing since, i am trying for a baby and was due my period! can you shed any light?

It could be implantation bleeding or subchorionic bleed/sac (I forget exactly). I had implantation bleeding for the first week of my pregnancy w/triplets (dark brownish blood) and then 3 weeks later I had bright red/pink blood because of subchorionic sac (I forget exactly what it is called but it it something like a little blood "sac" in the uterus. For me it resolved on its own.

it is called a subchorionic heamatoma, i know this because i lost a little girl seven months ago with this dreadfull bleed. they told me it was 1 in a million chance of happening again, i dont think i could go through that again i nearly lost my life aswell as my little girls, she was so beautiful.

I've had brown spotting for 5 days now, is implantation bleeding supposed to last that long?, implantantion bleeding lasts longer if it's more than 1 baby?

I had implantation bleeding for 7 days. I just went to see my first ultrasound. The Dr. said, "and theres a little sac of some sort...maybe its twins? Have you had any bleeding?" Then she suggested it was possibly a blood sac...How likely it is twins? What is a blood sac? All my implantation bleeding matched all the posts on the site.

i had my implantation bleed 3 weeks ago and although i have all other pregnancy side affects ,still no possitive test reading, anyone shed any light?

Hey, The reason that i am writing this is because my fiance' is in the navy and has been gone away since Oct 10th. I thought that i had my period on Oct 14 but now i suspect that it was implantation bleeding. I noticed that the bleeding was darker and more of a brownish color then usual. My concern is that this is my 3rd pregnancy and i did not have any implantation bleeding before, and twins run in my fiance's family???

I have a implantation bleeding(hope so,because it s like a light brownish and not like a regular menstrual flow).but iam having for the past six days,very little spots and not throughout the day..my mother had two twins.(in two delivery).Iam so much confused may be i have a twin pregnacy.Is it normal to have a six days implantation period?kindly help me to come out from this confusion.

Not sure, but if there are 2 eggs they could implant at different times causing your symptoms I guess. Implantation occurs 6-12 past conception. Good luck.
