i am in week 15 of my pregnacy, at our appointment friday i had gained 11lbs in 1 month, and the Dr. noted a large to date uterus. my U/S is not until jan 31.
i am totally freaked out it could be 2-we have no history in our family, i have had no sickness what-so-ever-
anyone in my boat???

Did your doctor mention twins at all?

she said it was possible.

My story exactly with my first large uterus gained 12lbs in month I had a twin hisory though but only one baby good luck

maybe maybe not. No way to know unless you have an u/s. Large for date uterus can be caused by excessive fluid, the way the baby is positioned, an experienced uterus(you have several pg under you belt) or for no reason at all.

I was hospitalized for dehydration cause the morning sickness was so bad. Plus they will want to do an u/s if your hcg levels are higher than normal (indicates possible twins). My doc called me in the next day for the u/s.
