Naturally Pregnant With Twins

To me! I have to say that I agree with some of these ladies. This may not be the forum for you to be involved in. Wishing for a child at some point in the future is a normal part of going from teens to twenties. However reaching out to a multiple forum at this time is not normal. A child can not fix your life it can only enhance it & your partnership. Doing your research is not a bad thing, just remember that if you don't have your own life experiences, what do you have to share with your child? How can you help them grow into adults if you don't have a natural transition? I wish ou happiness, & I'm sure when the time is right for both you & your boyfriend that the future will come naturally! Good luck!

Hi there, i just found this site and i am so excited about it and this thread. I found out i was naturally pregnant with twins when i was 6weeks. I was so so excited because we had been trying for a baby for a few months and i decided to put it in prayers and ask God I wanted twins. So i felt jinxed when they said i was having twins.....i have done a few scans....now I am 27weeks pregnant and i went for my last scan about 24weeks....I saw both of them playing in there and sucking their thumb...I was crying... But i went through the morning sickness and it was awful. I was admitted in the hospital as a result....Now, I am so so tired and i cant sleep well at nites...my back aches..there is no comfortable position to sleep and i am counting down..i am so so big...i used to weight 147pouunds because am 5"9 but yesterday i weighed myself and weighed 184pounds mening i have gained about 37pounds....am so scared..cos i dont even look big around my body except my stomach...i hope i can looose all this weight........please write and share ur experiences with me....

Hi NEWMOM! Congratulations on twins! I have 15 week old identical girls! It was quite a shock for us when we found out as they were # 3 and 4 for us! Once the initial shock was gone it was nothing but excitement and joy! Aside from the sleepless nights and constant pressure! I only gained in my stomach as well but if you are planning on b___stfeeding it helps you drop weight unbelieveable! I am still b___stfeeding but also supplement formula in the evening! You burn up to 1000 calories just feeding, I am smaller now than before I had my girls! Don't worry about the weight dropping you will be so busy with the babies it will melt right off! Do you know what the s_x is of the babies, and if they are identical or not? I know when I was in the last trimester a body pillow worked well for sleeping! I experienced really bad hip cramps during night I had to toss and turn constantly! It did relieve some of the pain and pressure! It is so exciting having two little babies, a lot of work but when you get that first smile it is totally worth it! GOOD LUCK!

Hi, Brooke. My name is Stephanie and I'm in Nashville, TN. I wasn't actually trying to conceive, but had been off of the pill for 1 year and my fiancee' & I both knew that if we did get pregnant it would be a great blessing. I've had problems in the past with severe dysplasia in my cervix & had to have laser surgery & several colposcopies. Due to thinning of my cervix, my doctor was unsure that I could actually become or remain pregnant. I know it's early, but I'm 8w now & we had our 1st ultrasound the 22nd. It was at this time we found out we were having twins. We are ecstatic&terrified. This, too, is my first pregnancy and I'm 31 years old, now. I feel like I have so much to learn in so little time. I'm sorry for your morning sickness. I've had some nausea, but I've had little to no vomiting thus far.

Hi Stephanie! Congrats on you pregnancy & the discovery of twins! I am 32 & over 19wks along with baby 1 & 2! It took us a long time to get this blessing wiht many losses along the way. I can totally relate to your fears. We just found out a couple of days ago that we are blessed once again as we're having a boy & a girl. I guess good things so come to those that wait! I wish you all the best & will keep my fingers crossed for you!

sblevins - Hey there Tennessee girl! I live in Jackson, TN. I hope you all have a great pregnancy and know what a blessing it is to have twins. I have 5 year old identical twin boys and yes I still have all of my hair (and then some) :). I found out we would have another baby or two but miscarried 3 weeks ago. My body is still healing and hope to concieve again and have twins AGAIN. They are so much fun and easier as they grow older. Mine play together all the time and hardly have time for "mom" ever since they were about 2 years old. I remember feeling sad b/c they didn't "need" me as much. I'm 34 and hope to have another pregnancy before I'm 35. You know alot happens after that Magically Age! If anyone has any questions I can probably help, I went through just about every bad thing carring mine. I'd love to help if I can! :)

I will be having my second set of natural twins in June. I was totally surprised about both sets.

Hi. I am 12 weeks pregnant with twins. I found out at about 6 weeks. I am terrified because I had a miscarriage in October and I am so scared it will happen again. This pregnancy has been hard so far. I am in a lot of pain, but my OB says it is probably just round ligament pain. I spotted a bit about a week ago, but it stopped completely and the ultrasound showed a normal pregnancy. I was just wondering what kinds of discomforts you guys have had. I'm trying really hard to remain calm, but I am terrified of losing another pregnancy, especially a twin one. Thanks for your help.

I can totally relate to the round ligament pain!!! It can hurt so much. the worst is rolling over in you sleep or even just coughing. I've had that pain since about 7wks & at 20wks it's still there!! But now that I know what it is, I don't freak out so much. I've had bleeding off & on since the day we did IUI. I try not to worry about it as much as I used to. I've had a nimber of u/s & both babies are fine. They're just beating up on me! The heartburn has just set in & Tums have become my constant companion. We have dreamed of this for so long & I worry that I have not had the opportunity to really enjoy my pregnancy as I've been on bedrest quite a bit. The longer I get in this pregnancy, the better it actually is as many of my fears have been put to rest now that I can feel them going at it...a whole lot!! It so cool!

Thanks so much for your response. It's hard not to freak out at every little pain, because it seems like my body is giving me new kinds of pain every day. I guess I just have to keep my head straight until tommorow when I have my IPS ultrasound.

You're in the middle of a twin pregnancy...your head will never be on straight again!! LOL:)

Hi there everyone, hope you are all hanging in there carrying your twins....I was going to recommend this book i have been reading...its awesome and it has lots of scripture and prayers to help you through your pregnancy....I only wish I found it earlier...as I was really sick in the beginning....Its called "Supernatural Childbirth" and its by Jackie Mize....you can find it at your local bookshop or Amazon.....Its a MUST HAVE!!! Candice, I am having a Boy and a Girl and I cant wait to meet them....I still dont enjoy my sleep at night...I am currently 29weeks and 2days.....I plan to b___stfeed them both as well for as long as possible.....I am also hoping it will help shed all the pounds I racked on during this pregnancy......I had an u/s 2weeks ago and they were so active in there....For all those feeling alot of pain, just hang in there...I was so sick to my stomach....these days, I stil have nausea.... Take care and hope to hear your experiences.....
