Opinion If This Is Vanishing Twin

I went to the Dr yesterday and according to my LMP i would have been 7w6days. I had a m/c in Feb so they decided to just take a look. The Dr did a vag ultrasound and saw two sacs. We had a clear veiw of one sac and baby with heartbeat. She told me that the 2nd sac looked to be empty, but since my uterus is high she couldn't get a clear view of the 2nd sac. She told me that if it is empty it would absorb. Also, baby only measured at 6w4d.....Do you think there could still be a chance that there is another one in the 2nd sac and that it is just a little behind the one that was there?....Also, she would let me have a pic with the 2 sacs in it. I found that strange. She wanted to put it in my chart.....any suggestions? Should I get the idea of twins out of my head? Thank you for your comments

On the tread below that is something like twins not detected at first ultra sound...there are some people on there that have had that happen. And at their next appt, there was clearly a second baby in the other sac with strong heart beats. So it's possible. There were quite a few on there. However there were a few too that had the same thing happen, and later there was not a second baby. Good luck. Are they going to give you another ultra sound soon to check on things? I hope everything turns out for the best. :)
