my doctor told me that when you are prego with twins, you show 3 weeks sooner and are continuously 3 weeks "ahead" of a singleton pregnancy in terms of growth, so 10 weeks and showing is pretty much right on! i'm now 7.5 weeks and counting! at 6.5 morning sickness hit.. ugh!

hey, i have read all of your experience. i am feeling great.i'm 17 weeks pregnant with twins. i feel huge.its my first pregnancy. i just wanna ask what are you feeling when babies move.sometimes i feel uncomfortable may be its baby movement. thanks. all the best.

jb - Hi there! I went for an ultrasound for an impedning miscarriage at the beginning of April, that's how I found out it was 2! i was bleeding, but it turned out to be implantation bleeding which was a bit heavier due to two fetus'. I go to the doc un the 11th of May and he will book me for a 3D u/s. That will be exciting. I am officially in my mat clothes as of this week. My belly is big, but not hard yet. Erin~that is awesome that everything has turned out great for you.I go to the Dr. May 12th for my 4 month check up. I have been having a lot of cramping and back pain. I was told it was because of the uterus being large than a singleton so it puts a lot of pressure on your body. Hopefully I will be feeling better soon. no, that does not increase your chances. Fraternal twins run on the mother side, not the fathers.

jb - Hello! Well, your appintment is quickly approaching! You must be so excited! I went and saw the gyno on Tuesday of last week. I was having terrible stomach pains, really high up. But, he dismissed it as indigestion. It has since gone away. We heard a heartbeat, too! Only one, though. I guess they only try for one, even if you are having twins. (Too hard to hear two?) But, what a great sound! I am still having quite a bit of anxiety that there is only one baby in there. I can't explain why. It is making it very hard for me to bond with this prengancy. Hi all I am 12 1/2 weeks pregnant with teinsa nd have a 5yr old daughter. We had 4 miscarriages inbetween so are still having alot of anxiety. We went to the Dr last Thursday and had our 4th u/s. Everything looked a great. I am a twin myself so am very excited to see what it is like to raise twins :>) good luck to all and God Bless!! :>)

I am in my 10th week.how soon can the doctor tell if I am having twins?

Crys, The Dr can see the heartbeats on u/s around 6 weeks or so. I knwo with my sister and I our heartbeats were in sync so they could never hear that there were twins,...which is why my mom was quite surprised after I was born to have the Dr say there was another baby... I am 32 weeks this week and soo excited to have the babies. We did not find out what they are ..we are waiting for the surprise at birth..Good luck to all :>)

hi ladies im sam im 23 and i am 9weeks preg but i am showing and i just wanted to know if most woman that carry twins show early or can i show this early with just one? and twins run very heavy in my mothers side triplets on my dads and the father of my baby allso has alot of twins on his side. i also would like to talk to some one in indianapolis indiana if there is any one i just had a few ?'s about this marion county program bull shi* that im haven to go thro to even see a ob doc.

I am 17 weeks prenat with fraternal twins I am also over weight 319lbs to be exact. The doctor could only pcik up one heartbeat with his doppler he dosent seem to be worried but I am.

usually women pregnant with twins show early and that is completely normal. i am also pregnant with twins in my 6th month and people doesn't think i am pregnant at all, i don't show anything but my doctor told me it's normal and the same thing happened before with my first daughter up till she was born nobody knew i was pregnant at all even though i am not overweight. i think as long as the baby is fine and the amniotic fluid level is ok there is nothing to worry about.
