My father n law is an identical twin..this is my third pregnancy and i am showing sooner, and the dr. said my uterus is big for 8wks also i have never had any sickness and i am sick all the time and tired. Could I be having twins...

identical twins don't "run in the family" only fraternal twins do, and only on the maternal side of the family. Basically, what happens is that the women in the family release more than one egg at a time, so both eggs get fertilized and....whaala...twins

twins dont run in my side of the family either, but in my husbands side, and I have no other factors that lead to multiple birth, but here i am, pregnant with twins! Good luck!

Mainly just regular pregnancy symptoms. I felt movement a lot earlier, and morning sickness was not as bad, but lasted longer than with my first, but everything else has been the same. Sorry, I know thats not much help to you. Is your doc going to do an ultrasound soon? Mine did because I was measuring big, and thats how I found out.

my dr. has not said I am going to ask for one when i go in next if she still thinks i am big for my for how far I am.thanks

Yes you could be having twins. I am pregnet. I am only 16yrs old going to be 17 on Febuary 27th of this month.
