wifelady - I am thinking about you and I am keeping everything cross for you and I can't wait for you to test in the morning. I am just now relaxing a little more. I really do miss the twins and it just breaks our heart my daughter (5) ask for her brothers. What can you say the only thing I tell her is her brothers is staying with their mom for now and you will see them soon. Talk to you in the morning. Sending tons of positive vibes your way. How much soy did you take?

OK I am new to this. Me and my husband want to conceive next month. We're trying for boys since he is the last male. We would like twins. I was going to try ca__sava root but found out that you usually have to take it for 2 years before it has an effect. I found out about Soy and went out and bought some. I am taking folic acid and 200 mg of soy every day. HOWEVER, now I am reading that you have to take it on certain days for it to be effective. I don't know alot of the terms used on the forums so they are very confusing. Am I supposed to take the soy while I am still on my period? Or do I wait until I stop? If anyone can let me know I would really appreciate it. Also would taking a double dose of the soy work instead of taking soy and clomid?

ataylor0901: I am new to taking the Soy too...this will be my first month trying it. But I did take Clomid last month and you take the soy the same as that. It should be taken CD1-5, 2-6, 3-7 or 5-9 for it to work. Count the first day of your AF (aunt flow) as CD (cycle day) 1. Good luck! My question is has anyone taken both soy and clomid together and if so what days did you take them. I was on 50mg of clomid cd3-7 last month. Got BFN this morning so I am ready to get started again. I dnt think my dr is upping my clomid even though my day 21 progerstone test was low....im so frustrated. Any advise would help Baby dust to all!

Hi everyone! I took 200mg of SI from CD3 to CD7 in the mornings and started clomid from CD5 to CD9 everyday at 6pm. Sure enough, I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins! I also want to add that I was also taking vitamin d3 1000 units twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with materna before I went to bed.

Thank you MrsNK! I think it's too late this month to get pregnant but hopefully next month we will be right on schedule! Let me know your results with this. I'm praying you conceive! LisasTwins- thank you so much for the info. Next month I am going to try exactly what you did and pray it works! I am so happy for you about your babies! Keep me posted on their progress.

Thx ataylor0901...best of luck to you too..keep us posted. Yay! AF started on its own today. This will be my first month trying SI. I am not sure how much I am going to take yet. Any suggestions? I will also be on 50mg Clomid. I may mirror LisasTwins and do 200mg cd3-7 and then the clomid cd5-9. Baby Dust to Everyone!!!!

I read on a website that in order for SI to be effective, you have to take 200mg a day so keep that in mind. :)

OK so today is CD3. I took 200mg of SI this morning. I am nervous yet anxious and excited to see how it works. Im nervous abt messing something up but everywhere I have read online has all been positive. No one has said it made them NOT O. I will start taking 50mg of Clomid on CD5. ataylor0901: Where are you at in your cycle?

ataylor0901 - April 20

Well , now that I know how to count it, CD13. Next month I will start the SI on CD3. I'm excited for you! I don't have Clomid so I'm going to try taking extra SI CD5-7 with just 200mg of SI CD3,4,8,9. I'm not sure if this will have the same effect but it's worth a try.... Ashton

mrsdragon - April 21

I will be starting my first round of SI at the end of the month when AF shows. This will be our first month trying for our final addition to our family :-)

ataylor0901 - April 21

Good luck Mrsdragon! Keep us posted!

MrsNK - April 22

I am CD5, have been taking 200mg of SI every morning since CD3. No side effects so far...dnt know if I should be happy or concerned LOL. I start 50mg Clomid 2nite. Praying when I have my B/W on day 21 that it shows I O'd and that my numbers are higher then they were last month.
