Hey ladies I just wanted to say hi and to see how everyone is doing. I have been MIA but I am back. I just started back TTC this cycle and I am currently on cd 8 and the only thing I am doing this cycle is taking folic acid prescribe by my doctor and taking my temps again and I did go to the $ store and I brought 5 opk will this be enough or should I get more? I will start using them on Sunday cd 10 since I am so out of sync with my body. I will update. I need updates from everybody. Krissy68

Krissy68--I wondered what happened to you--I stopped checking after the end of March, but then I got a notice that you'd written. Things here are good. Fast approaching the 20 week mark. We find out the s_x on June 1st, then I can start the buying frenzy! Starting to really kind of pop out a bit, so I'm going shopping this weekend for some new "hide it/show it" maternity clothes. Keep posting on here, because I'd like to know how things are going with you! I am hoping for the best for you!

Hi ladies...you probably don't remember me! I'm back from page 1!!! I was due July 11th, 2009 but at our gender ultrasound in early February, we found out that our baby was very sick with a chromosomal abnormality called Triploidy. She died a few weeks later and I delivered her on February 28th. So it will be 3 months since her death. I blogged about our journey here: marygraceholmes.blogspot.com if you would like to read her story. We are back to ttc again....I am in my two week wait and hopefully it will bring us another bfp! Keep your fingers crossed for me! HopinginColorado: so excited to hear you are expecting!! And nearly 20 weeks! That is just great news! :)

I do remember you--you were like the first one of us to get pregnant. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I wish you the best with trying to concieve again. Did you do the testing back around your 14-16 week? Is what your daughter had what they can detect earlier?

We did not do the testing around 14 weeks...we opted not to, because we would not have aborted no matter what. But I did ask the doc if we HAD done the testing if it would have picked up this abnormality and he said probably not that early. So likely we would not have known about it anyway. When they did the gender u/s at 17 1/2 wks, that's when we found out all the things that were wrong with her and it was all due to her chromosomal problem...she had an extra set of chromosomes (69 instead of the normal 46), and that is "incompatible with life" (a phrase the doctors use). It's apparently completely random, so the doctors say I am not at an increased risk or anything of this happening again...but still...I just wonder if we'll ever have another healthy child! Anyway just wanted to update ya'll and wish you all luck! :) I'll try to keep you posted if we get a BFP over here .

HopinginColorado - Hey girlfriend it has been a long time since we have talk. How have you been? It seem like yesterday you were telling us you were preggo. Wow 20 weeks you are half way there. I am doing much better during the end of March I was dealing with a lot of female problems but when I went to see my doctor in April she gave me the clean bill of health. She also told me that she didn't see a problem of me getting pg even if I will be 41 on Jun 3 so I said okay I will go for it. I think the time off from the forum did me some good I need to regroup and go from there. I started AF on May 15 and it was a little weird to me because I normally go 7 days straight heavy but this time around on cd 1 it was light pink, on cd 2&3 it was real heavy on cd 4 it was normal and then on cd 5 it was spotting and light pink. I am currently taking prescribe folic acid and I did start back taking my temp and I also brought some opk from the $ store and I wasn't real sure when I was suppose to start using them so I just started on Sunday cd 10. On cd 10&11 it was Neg but today on cd 12 I got my first Pos.I will keep you posted and Rub your belly for me. I will talk to you soon. Krissy
