Sorry AF showed Mamma. It took 2 weeks for my clomid to get here, so I didn't get to start it during this cycle. I'm on cd 27 and 15 dpo, so AF should be here any minute really. I just can't wait to start the clomid.

Hi girls, I have been reading the twins forums for about 8 months now to get ideas but too chicken to write anything until now! Well I have been ttc for about 6 months now. I tried doing clomid days 5-9 a few months back for 2 months but then I started having NO cm! So I stopped and still af keeps showing up so Im starting again today is CD1 for me. I was thinking about starting clomid 50mg tonite. I have very regular periods and ovulate regularly. I would love to have twins but one will be just great also. Should I take 50mg or 100mg? I know that mucinex can halp with the cm, when should I take it and how often and how much?? I also have been take prenatal vit but thinking about also doing progesterone cream after O. What do you girls think? I am way too scared to confide in anybody else about using clomid for twins so this is my new circle. Please help me

Hi Trying for #1, I'm glad you've posted. I'm aiming for the same thing. I also just start af and am on cd2 now. Tomorrow I'll start my clomid for days 3-7. For cm I'm taking evening primrose oil which I started yesterday. After I'm done with my last dosage of clomid I'll start taking a mucinex every day until I O. I'll also be doing the progesterone thing as well after O. I have suppositories for that. And I think I'm going to take 100 mgs of the clomid that I got. Let me know what you decide. GRRR! Still no package yet! Today was my last day I could try it.... It should definately be here a week before my next cycle though, so I guess if it doesnt happen on its own this month, I will start in Feb. ~Trying for #1~ I am going to use PreSeed (I already have it) and Mucinex (the dosage and frequancy on the box, after taking clomid). I don't know about the progesterone cream... I think thats specifically if you have trouble keeping your beans... I am going to follow my clomid with baby asprin, to help it stick.... I will also be doing 1-5 on 100 mg. (1st round) I totally understand about being afraid to confide in anyone else... If you want someone to talk to, I use yahoo msngr. Same as my name but theres a _ in between Mamma and Muma.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the preseed and baby aspirin to my little regimen.

Hi Everybody, I'm looking for some company, a cycle buddy or maybe a shoulder or two to lean on while ttc. I'm new to the thread but not so new to the clomid regime. I O regularly and have pretty regular cycle we are taking clomid to increase our chances for twins. And like many of you I just need somewhere to say that in a save supportive setting. My DS was conceived on clomid 100mg 2-6, we were trying for twins then as well. Now we are back on board with our 1st round of 150mg 2-6. I'm on CD11 today. We are very hopeful that we will receive our blessings this year...... On a side note we got our fortunes told this past holiday (just for kicks) we didn't really take it serious at all but then to our surprise she said that she saw twins in our future! To say the very least I was stunned. Even if it wasn't true we sure got a kick out of it, who knows maybe it's not impossible. Here's wishing you all a wonderful year of BFP's. you've come to the right place blessings. I don't know where you are in your cycle, but I'm on cd2 now and I start my clomid tomorrow. I'm starting to get a little nervous but i'm sure everything will be fine. I'm contemplating taking 75 mgs rather than 100, but i'll probably end up doing 100.

What is preseed?

mother of seven~preseed is a sperm friendly lubricant... its recommended by docs who prescribe clomid, since it can dry you up.

Thanks for your replies rockybluelady and mammamuma! Well I started 50mg last night on CD1. How you you determine whether to use 50 or 100? Why do some of you use more, does it increase ur chances of twins? I wasnt so sure about the progesterone cream its just been reading and seems like many women are using it, cant hurt any can it? I used preseed a few times, I only have one app left, how long does that take to ship? If I use mucinex will that help alot with the cm or is it not enough without preseed?? what does baby aspirin do? And wow what is primrose oil? Thats a new one for me! Sorry about all of the questions I just want to know what to do bc Im very impatient and sick of being disappointed every month! Well so far no s/e from the clomid. When I took it before I got really bad headaches so now Im going to take it at night. All night I had really bad cramps, I usually dont get cramps at all with af so idk all I can think about is cysts....im just paranoid. I really want to up my chances of twins but so scared that Ill screw up chances of kids at all! People just like to scare you with made up horror stories on some of these forums I think! ~Trying for #1~Doctors steadily increase the dose, so I'm guessing in already ovulatory women, you would ovulate more... You have to use progesterone AFTER you have ovulate, if you use it too soon, it will jack up your hormones and you won't ovulate. Mucinex will definately help your CM. Preseed only took 4 days for me to get, on the site it said 4-6 days... I think you can try w/o preseed, but I'm not sure if it would help or not. Baby asprin will help your blood flow. I've had 2 m/c, so I'm taking it for sure. I got my shipment today. Screw it, I'm taking 100, 7-11... I just stopped bleeding yesterday so, I think It will work. Baby dust!!!!!

Well I'm on cd3 today and plan on taking my first dosage of clomid tonight. I too am taking baby aspirin since I was told to do that by my dr after having 3 mcs. I'm glad you got your shipment finally mammamuma!! I pray it works for you. Trying for #1, yes there are horror stories, and if it would help for rea__surance, you can research it on the internet. Cysts can happen, yes, but they usually dissolve on their own and it doesn't usually happen. But I do share your concern about it. That's why I'm considering doing 75 mgs instead. But I'll see how I feel when I take them. I'll let you know what I decide.

I decided to go full speed ahead and just took my first dosage of 100 mgs of clomid. We'll see what happens!!

Mammamuma so is it hard to conceive without pressed even with mucinex?? I never knew that wow I've had slot of wasteful nights!!

I don't really know if it is needed or not. I read 25% of women who take clomid experience hostile cervical mucus. If you don't, then I don't think you will have a problem and won't need preseed. I just wanted to keep it on hand just in case.

OH I see! Well my second month of clomid I was very dry no mucus at all. The first month I really didnt notice anything different but wasnt really paying any attention either. Been off clomid for about 3 months now and has regular cm last month and month before. Well Ill use it anyways. Ok so last night I forgot to take my second dose of clomid. Yesterday was CD2, should I just start over tonite??
