Hi everyone! I have been reading all your posts and would love to join the group! Here is my story ttc for 4 years with no luck then took 100mg of u/p clomid cd 5-9 and first try got my adorable son who is 18 months now. I just recently started u/p clomid again. and its been really hard. first cycle I took 100mg cd 1-5 and I didn't ovulate the second cycle was 150mg cd 1-5 and ovulated on cd14 but got a BFN Now this is my third cycle on 150mg 1-5 and didn't ovulate. So I am now waiting for af to start to start 200mg.

Welcome, girls! BlessedMommy, it's so exciting that you got your clomid!!! I can't wait to get mine. So far I've been charting my temps and doing OPK and I think I messed up this month because my temps started going up a couple of days ago but I never got a positive OPK. I read instructions and I was actually supposed to use first morning urine but I was using afternoon, that could be the reason fr negative opks or maybe I didnt ovulate at all? Do you ladies know if its possible to have increased temps but no ovulation? Sergnaty, how are you tracking your ovulation? OPKs?

Kimismurf: I read your post and as far as the dosage, i think we all struggle with which one to take. I would suggest starting first day with 100mg and see if any s/e. if you feel comfortable then on following days maybe take 125 or 150mg. I read on a website that a doctor replied to a users question that he never prescribes 50mg so i am starting at 100mg and since you say your overweight then maybe it would be best to take 125mg or 150mg. but really its whatever you are comfortable with. Kriswill727: My husband read your post was like, she sounds just like you lol! we are trying in september so we can have summer baby/babies too because I'm still in school as well! So looks like we'll be cycle buddies!! how exciting! I looked at a calender and I should have AF around sept 10-15 something like that! so after this cycle i have one more in august till we ttc our twins!!! I did want to ask you why are you using the trigger shot? do you not competely ovulate on your own? and i also read that it is very tricky to use that you have to use it on the exact perfect day or it can mess up everything. do you think the trigger shot will help with the twins? Trying4twins: when are you ordering yours? long story short but i dont have anyone to look at the meds to check for me. but we looked at pics online and they look exactly like them so I'm just praying they are right! it only took 15days from the day we ordered them from that site.

sergnaty what were your s/e on the clomid?

sergnaty - July 13

trying: Yes I am just using opk's but I think I messed up this cycle I only used them from cd 13-16 so I could have just missed ovulation. I have been feeling a little crampy and the day before yesterday I spotted very lightly only when I wiped for the day.So fingers crossed! Blessed: I never had any side effects with the clomid. except last month the day I ovulated I had cramps that were soo bad I couldn't get out of bed. but This month on the same 150mg dose I felt absolutly nothing. Also by the way I do not ovulate on my own and it has been very hard for me to ttc so I really am hoping for some twins! and so if this month doesn't work next month will be 200mg of clomid cd 1-5 and I am also thinking about taking femara if clomid doesn't work for me

BlessedMommy- I ovulate perfectly fine on my own I just figured a trigger wouldn't hurt the process. I have the most boring cycle, 28 days and totally normal. I'm pretty envious of the women that only have 1 or 2 periods a year! Although that part is no fun when TTC. Thats awesome that your husband is involved :) Mine on the other hand has been hearing this clomid/twins stuff for over a year and really doesn't care any more. lol. I got all my OPKs (50 for $10) in the mail yesterday and should get my pharmaceutical order tomorrow (or even today)I'm really excited. I went on birth control to have more "control" of when AF happens. I'm leaning more towards the middle/end of sept just it is twins and I go into labor early. I don't want to have to miss school for finals. The mail lady just came. Got my stuff today :) I had to hide it so I don't jump my gun!

I came home today suprised by the cutest gift bag and the sweetest note ever!!! I won't bore you with all the gushy details but in the note my husband wrote in this bag contains everything we need to concieve our blessings!! in the gift bag was (this should help answer your question catpek) mucinex, preseed, and more prenatal vitamins....he is so excited about the whole process and that makes me want the twins even more...I know he will be sooo happy!! ok enough of the mushy stuff lol Soooo kris! its seemes we have a lot more in common lol...i too am on a 28day cycle and had gotten on bc but last night was my last day so I can have at least one normal cycle before september. omg girls I am becoming more and more anxious and nervous about the whole process. for those of us who do ovulate normally do yall really think there is an increase chance of twins? my sis-inlaw doctor gave her clomid just to speed up the process after their miscarraige due to an incompetent cervix and BAM! B/G twins popped out last november! she had no problems ovulating on her own either. I really hope its that easy for all us and that we all get our twins.....***BABY DUST***

I'm so glad I've found this group! I'm going to begin taking unprescribed clomid soon. I ordered mine online in the hope of conceiving twins! I have three children now. 4, 2, and 1. We want a big family, and twins has been something I've longed for since my first pregnancy. I have no trouble getting pregnant, just trying to increase my chances of twins. Any one else know of anything extra I can do to release more eggs? I've been considering hcg trigger shot, etc.

Hello Ladies!!! I am 31, DH is 37, my girl is 4. With my 1st preg i never planned or suplemented. Neither did I track O as crazily as now. May be because i was just too excited with just the idea of having a baby. Now, Planning& Suplementing on baby#2 & I hope to have 2 babies... even better 2 baby boys. We plan to start baby-making process in Sep 2010. Its really hard to wait!!! I am taking pre-nat for last 2 weeks. I started charting BBT when i started pre-nat... but it got boring...lol. I did pee-on-stick 2 times a day CD7-CD14 so i can ctach the peak & got 2 good days of smiley's on CD11 & CD12. So i suppose I O'd on CD14. Got DH to practice BD;). It was great! July was Practice Month 1. Aug is Practice Month 2. I hope by then eggies & spermies will understand what i am trying to achieve. I have read every little forum on Soy Iso, but really chicken to try. I went to earth Fare & touched the bottle of Soy Iso. If i do, i will do it with AF-in-Aug (Sep try). PLZ PLZ PLZ let me know if anybody is planning on doing SOY ISO. Blessedmommy - Can you please ask your pharmacist-freind on her take on Soy ISO? How much & when. I plan to do 80mcg CD1-CD5. I have regular 29 day cycle. For swaying, i am definitely doing Alkaline diet. Tired of drinking lemonade already!!! and crazily increased salt intake, less dairy, more bananas for pottasium. Praying really hard for healthy twins.

catpek - July 16

Ok, I am just starting to get a list together of what to do. Have been researching soy iso as well as clomid. Trying to get a good list so I know where to start!!

kriswill727 - July 18

I've been reading lots of ttc twins threads for a long time and have never heard of any success with soy iso. I have read if you take it with clomid that it just cancels the effects out. Good luck! Blessed- how much longer do you have in school?

boygirltwin - July 18

how about Vitex? Wonder if there is any diet that causes hyperovulation! I have heard yam... but the ones that we get here in the USA are not the same. I have heard non-rBST-free milk can make one hyper-ovulate. But since all milk is rBST-free... that option is out.

kriswill727 - July 18

I'm pretty sure milk won't make you hyperstim unless you drink like 5 gallons a day. Your best chances for multiples is clomid unless you want "for sure" multiples then I would say injectables. But you would also be at risk for a whole litter of children instead of just 2. And as far as taking the herbs, I take some herbs but I never mix them with drugs or together unless it is known that they don't interact. They aren't monitored by the FDA bc they're suppliments. Just be careful and don't take anything unless your sure its ok to take them together. Twins are cute and sweet but not worth your life. Good Luck :)

BlessedMommy, your husband is such a nice guy! I'm jealous :) It sucks that your friend wasnt able to check pills for you. Oh well... The medsmex site it back up, so I think I'll go with them since I read quite a few reviews. I'm planning to get it this week. Some people said it's better to order pills with a visa giftcard because a lot of people had fraud charges on ther credit cards after they ordered from them. I'm getting impatient and want to start the process soon.
