I am 24 weeks pregnant measuring 30 weeks, thats 6 weeks ahead!!! i have not been sick but have felt very big and i look the same as i did at 42 weeks with my daughter (the day i delivered) had 2 ultrasonds, one at about 10 weeks and one at 19 weeks, but they only showed one. have another u/s scheduled. My pelvic bone has killed me this time, my back is not all that bad, but it seems like when i stand too long my stomach hurts and i have to lean over. My 2 year old daughter has been telling me that there are 2 babys from the start. One girl one boy, so i guess we will see. Any thoughts? Anyone ever measure 6 weeks ahead and it not be twins?

My hcg at day 22 was 5566 with a prog of 28.13, at day 25 my hcg was 8049 with a prog of 22.47. I am concerned because they did not double and the prog decreased. Though i think it did because right after ovulation i was taking 200mg prog vag.supp. at night then after confirmed preg. dr. gave me 50mg at night. As of now my dr. wants to wait until day 44 to do beta and an ultrasound. This is my 3rd preg since Aug. 04. mc: sept.04 preg in dec.04 mc:feb.04 My numbers were never this high, so there is some comfort. Also i have been taking major and mineral suppliments so my morning sickness is only nausea. I am just wondering if there is anybody who has had a similar situation and all turned out fine. I would really appreciate any input. Like all of us i am cautiously hopeful.

Could it be possible that i can have a level of 47 hcg at 4 weeks pregnant? I was bleeding and this is what my test was after the bleeding, i wont know anything until tomorrow....

from what I understand, a home pregnancy test picks up positive at 25 HcG and that is supposed to be detected approximately at 4 weeks. When I had a miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks, I was only at 16 when I started bleeding.

Annmarie-I measured 34 weeks @ 28 weeks. Turned out it was just a big baby 9lbs 5oz. Have you had your ultrasound? Twins run in my family. My mom's mom had 3 sets! I alway worry when I'm pregnant. I have had 2 sucessful pregnancies and 2 failed. I recently look up information/study on hCG levels. Here is a good site. http://www.ivfer.com/hcg_survey.htm It states there is really no coorelation between high hCG levels and mulitple births. Good luck to everyone.

Has anyone here done IVF, and is pregnant? I'm trying to figure out if my HCG is higher than normal, for testing 12 days, and 14 days after transfer?

Kim, I recently had ivf treatment and we found out on may 10 (16 days after transfer) that we are pregnant. My hcg was 512, as your doc will tell you that is a nice high level. I was told by my doc anything over 50 is positive but some aim for higher levels over 150. I dont know where you are recieving treatment as some countries are different but if you have any worries your doc is there to answer any questions you have.

For all those of you who are wondering what HCG levels are normal...here is the answer. I work in a LAb as a Medical technologist...and in our lab these are the ranges (ranges may vary a bit from lab to lab) , but this might give you an idea.
By the way...your levels should double every 2.2 days , if they di...this rules out etopic pregnancy.
non-pregnant felames = less than 10 MIU/ML
Gestation Age = Reference range in(MIU/ML)
0.2 to 1 week = 5 - 50
1-2 weeks = 50 - 500
2-3 weeks = 100 - 5,000
3-4 weeks = 500 - 10,000
4-5 weeks = 1,000 - 50,000
5-6 weeks = 10,000 - 100,000
6-8 weeks = 15,000 - 200,000
2=3 months = 10,000 - 100,000
{;ease remember the best way to determine your Estimated Delivery Date is by an Ultrasound (usually performed between 6-8 weeks after conception)
Hope this helps!

I recently had an IUI cycle with injectables. At 16 DPO my HCG level was 595 and at 20 DPO my HCG level was 4,000. I was convinced it was twins or more. I had my ultrasound done at 5 weeks 6 days, and there was just one little heartbeat! I'm very relieved! The nurses who called me with my levels were convinced there were at least two babies in there in their interpretation of my levels, but my doctor said there is a huge range and not to jump to conclusions. He was right!

I know its hard to not know if there are 2 babies inside! Your high levels can only rea__sure you that you have at least one strong pregnancy. At this early in your pregnancy hormone levels have a huge variation. Many people have a blighted twin or vanishing twin and never know it. My hcg at 28 dpo was 60,000 and I had a blighted twin. Which is an extra sac that never formed. You could be on your way to having two. The only certain answer is u/s. Good Luck!!
