tab_ they say that the frequent urination from pregnancy is due to your uterus expanding and putting pressure on your bladder. You don't usually get that for about a month or later. So, I don't think that would be related. The rest of your symtoms could be because your going to get your AF... but, let us know what the results say

HI! HELP! I just had a sonogram done today. I am exactly 6 weeks. My HCG levels were fairly high when I had all of the bloodwork done. The sonogram shows 2 sacs, but at this time only 1 heartbeat was detected. Is this typical or is this a good sign of vanishing twin? I go back next week for another sonogram. We conceived through IVF. Thanks!

hi michele, I don't know the ans, but how soon did u find out u were preg with hpt? And what signs did u have before u knew?

Michele- obviously there was a fetus in the one sac where the heartbeat was detected.... but, was the other one empty or could you see a fetus for sure?

I found out that I was pregnant about 2 weeks after I had my egg transfer via a HPT. The next day I had my bloodwork which showed an HcG of 937. So that was at about 28 days. I believe that there was a fetus in the other sac. I did not think to ask at the time. Thanks for your responses!

Michelle, My levels at 7 weeks along were 63,000, which are pretty high. We had a sonogram done which showed one sac with a baby in it with a strong heartbeat. There was some material next to it that the docs say was a second sac that was already starting to reabsorb into my system, which means I had a vanishing twin. Hope this helps. You should be able to see more next week at your next appt. You won't believe how much bigger it gets week to week.

Yes Jessica. One week they couldn't find anything in my uterus and the next week (actually 6 days later) the sac and (at least one) fetal pole was huge. lol... go back in about 3 weeks to do measurements and find a heartbeat and/or to see if there is more than one in there. :) I am only 5 weeks and my HCG is over 16000.. So, its tripling, not doubling... by the time I am 7 weeks it will be over 60,000

I just got my levels back today. I am seven weeks and my levels were 69000 so I am going in for an ultrasound on Wednesday. I am so nervous I hope it's twins and not a molar pregnancy. I am so worried.

A lot of times, woman are off on their dates... You can never go by JUST one HCG level... you have to get the 2 about 48 hours between to see the the rise.

The lab messed up on my second levels check and checked my blood type instead. But my doc said my first level looked so good she wasn't worried but she is checking to see if the lab still has my blood so run the the second set of levels. But I am going in for an ultrasound tomorrow to see if it's twins or a molar pregnancy.

Well then where did you get the 69000 from?? lol... never heard of a 69000 blood type... lol.. ;) Anyhow... Hope everything goes good at your ultrasound. It should answer a lot of questions. Hopefully you are far along to do measurements and maybe even pick up a heartbeat. Keep us posted. Best of luck!!

Daniella they took my levels on Friday for the first set and screwed up on my second set. LOL. Anyway I will keep you girls posted. I am so nervous! At first the nurse said that because my levels were so high she wasn' t worried but they had me go back in today to get my levels done again to compare. Still waiting to hear back...gotta love the waiting game. Talk to ya tomorrow!

hi im new to this forum and i was just wondering if someone could help on the 08/31 15 DPO my HCG was 215 then on the 09/06 21 DPO HCG was 1900 then yesterday 09/13 28 DPO my HCG was 15,982 is this a normal HCG level or might be twins i am 6 weeks from LMP thanks any advice would help

My hcg levels were 54,679 and I am 5 weeks. Does this seem high for 5 weeks? I have been going for blood work every other week, but now every week because my last preg ended with a m/c. I just hope that everything is normal this time. My first hcg was 3,616 which was one week after ovulation. My dr. says everything looks fine, but I just want to see if there is anyone else with these numbers at 5 weeks. thanks
