Twins But Only One Detected

Anyone had a hunch they were having twins... had signs and symptoms...etc etc.. but had an ultrasound but only saw one baby for sure with a heartbeat but another ? mass under it....I had an ultrasound done at 7 weeks... and saw a baby with a heartbeat.. but technition said there was a poolk of something under it.... and when the doctor went over the reuslts he only had what info the tech wrote and didn't show him the actual picture.. so now we are waiting to have another ultrasound done nearer to 12 weeks.... what if the second baby died... could the other baby survive ?

At my 6 week sono I found out that I was having twins. They found two sacs but only detected one heart beat. They say I must have miscarried the second one. I never experienced any symptoms of miscarriage(???). The next sono that I had they couldn't even find the second sak that was found in the first sono. It would be crazy to get a surprise in the delivery room...

I did have bleeding at the time .. which is the original reason why we went to emergency in the first place.... then the doctor requested an ultrasound because my HCG at the time 7 weeks... was 85576... i am now experiencing the extreme of extremes case of morning sickness....so who knows in my case, i had only brown discharge when I wiped and it only last for a week of and on....time will tell I guess...

I got pregnant while i was pregnant.. and if the other was 3-4 weeks behind the other in gestational time like mine it could have one with a heart beat and one that wasn't ready for a heartbeat...too young?

my last pregnancy i knew i was pregnant i had a miscarriage went to the emergency room doctor told me he saw a second baby she is now 7 years old i am know pregnant again im about 10 weeks and show like i am 5 months waiting to here the heart beat or to have a u/s

Well to update we had yet another ultrasound on Dec 18 and there is only one baby. Unless one is hiding... lets hope not.....

I HAD A SONOGRAM TODAY AND I AM 8 WEEKS. THEY FOUND ONE FETUS WITH A HEARTBEAT, AND SOMETHING ELSE WAS IN THERE LIKE A BABY BUT NO HEARTBEAT. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON? MY HCG LEVELS WERE RIGHT AT 10,000 2 WEEKS AGO! I AM HAVING ALOT OF MORNING SICKNESS AND VERY EMOTIONAL! HAS ANYONE EVER HAD THIS HAPPEN? AND THEN STILL HAD A SUCESSFUL PREGNANCY WITH ONE BABY OR TWINS?
