I am so happy there is a forum that isnt rude or abusive . Thank you. I have been taking 100 mg. of clomid cd 1-6 and it is U/P . I am letting my doc know that I have used herbal fertility helpers though so that my insurance will still pick it up. I saw this was suggested above or mentioned at the very least. It is a good idea to inform your doc ..so I would say take a round of the hearbal so that you arent lieing to him about it at least .
I live in Albuquerque New Mexico. I will start bding on Tuesday. Baby Dust to you all.

I live in NYC, but I have a business in Wisconsin so I'm always back and forth. I am taking clomid, 100mg days 3-7 and waiting for results now. Not sure it worked though and this is my third round, so if AF comes next week I think I'll take days 1-5 after reading this thread. I REALLY want twins too (long story). I just had a question for the moms of twins and triplets using clomid...were the babies born premature and were they healthy as could be? That's the only thing I'm worried about so it would be good to hear from those who have been there. Thanks so much!

I have taken clomid (prescribed) to become pregnant. My first daughter, I concieved at 100 mg. days 5-9. She is now 2 yrs, 9 mo. We also have 11 week old twins that were concieved on 150 mg. of clomid days 5-9. We had a miscarriage right before we concieved the twins and were on the same doses. I also took metformin along with the clomid as well as robitusin. Good luck to all you trying. It will happen!!!!

Hey there,
My twins were born on time for a twin birth as far as my doctor was concerned. They were both 5 pounds two and a half ounces and went home with me . I know that some people have premies , but with the technology that they have today, it doesnt seem to be as much of an issue as it used to be . I do understand your concern though as I went through that as well. I hope you get the twins you always wanted. Baby dust to you .

Were my triplets born premature? YES. ALL triplets are born premature. Some more so than others. Human beings were not designed to carry litters. Are they healthy? Now, they are relatively healthy. One is very small (he was 1lb 9oz at birth), one has a crooked leg that he wears a brace on due to an infection he had in the NICU. Their lives were in constant peril from 8 wks gestation until they were about 10 weeks old. One of them nearly died when he developed a strangulated hernia at 9 weeks old. The hernia was a direct result of being premature. I post regularly on a triplet website and I've seen far worse outcomes. I feel amazingly blessed to have my 3 miracles. They are the joy of my life. But you can see why I am sickened by the women on this site that take u/p clomid and encourage others to do so. You just don't know how many babies you're going to get. I'm so glad that my fertility treatments were monitered by doctors. If I had gotten pregnant by u/p clomid I would have been so guilt-ridden. Take it from a mom who has held a 1 pound baby with an iv in his head in her arms: it's not worth it.

There is a woman in WA (I believe) who just gave birth in Sept. to quintuplets and she was on clomid. You can google it and you'll find the articles. Please everyone be careful. The last thing you want to have to think about is selective reduction.

Thank you for keeping it real and clean. I am a U/P taker and though I will still make my own choice, I am very much appreciative for comments like yours that are clean, but firm . That makes a world of difference to people and allows them to keep open ears. I do think that weather or not the fertility drug was taken p or u/p the fact remains that as any mother we would feel guilty either way if anything ever happened to any of our little ones . That just comes with the nature of being a mom . Now with that being said, I also think that at least for myself I will be closely watched via doctor if I do get pregnant with multiples and I will also trust and hope that only good healthy babies will come from this journey. If anything should happen then that is a whole other journey I will have to take with them, but until I wont talk or think as if it has or will because I also believe that the power of mind and speach is a very strong thing . Again thank you for keeping it clean and I am glad that your little ones are doing better now. I am sorry that you had a rough time of it and I hope that only good things are to come for you and your bundles of joy.

to yetanothertripletmom, just wanted to say thank you for sharing your experience and wish you luck and blessings with your little ones. I really appreciate everyone sharing on this post. If anyone else has a personal story with their twins or triplets I would also appreciate hearing it. I fully understand the risks involved, I will be supervised and as an egg donor I've been on meds many times stronger than this...resulting in about 20 mature eggs that hopefully made the difference in a stranger's life. Anywho, I just wanted to say thank you for everyone who shares their lives with strangers on these posts because it just makes it a lot easier to not go through this alone. And baby dust to those ttc!***

Anyhow, I live in Denver and will take it from 1-5. I would like twins, but I NEED a healthy baby-bottom line. Baby dust to all!!!
