Hi Lois! You are very lucky to have a husband who wants as many kids as you do. Lately I have been wondering how my 17 month old will be with a new baby. Have you thought about it? How do you think your don will be? SoReady welcome back! S/E are not as bad this time. I took it at 10 am instead of noon this time and treated my self for the s/e before they started. So far so good. I did ask my doctor for at least a u/s but he said no. I am thinking about changing doctors after I am prego becuase he just doesnt take the time. My husband has really surprised me. I have a family calender that has everything on it. From appointments to AF to what meds everyone has taken at what time. It just helps me keep track of who is going where and if I have sick kids when the next med is do. Anyways he say that I put af do by the 11th. When I started on the 12th he said he was upset. He was really hopeing I was pregnant. So I put our BD days for a boy on there. He asked me today about them and just nodded his head. I am taking it as a good sign. There is a slight problem now though. We found out his work is down sizing and he might lose his job today. I am not sure how that will effect our BD. I mean if he loses his job it will be bad but we pay for our own insurance so we will still have it and he will be finnished with school in 10 weeks and he has a sheriffs job already lined up. I dont see a problem but he might.

Lois - Congrats on being prego!!! Thats good to hear that your dh is willing to have a big family. I would love a big family and having multiples is the only way that it will happen. I will be doc_menting everything that I am doing when we are able to start TTC this summer so if you stick around you will find out if some of my crazy theories work! lol

Mzwest - I am sorry to hear that your dh might lose his job. That could put a damper on TTC. I hope that he is one of the lucky ones that gets to keep his job! I am glad to hear that he is back on board! Fo the moment so is mine but come July who knows how he will act! lol I may have to break out some hand cuffs as well!!!

Mzwest - I actually have no idea how my son is going to behave. As you have a daughter around his age, you'd know that even though he isn't a baby, he still has a lot of baby traits. He likes to be rocked, and held, and still won't hold his own bottle! So I know they'll be difficulties, but I know it's really going to be a benefit to him. He'll learn to share, and more importantly, not feel alone during his childhood. SoReady - I don't think dh would choose by himself to have that many kids, I think he'd be happy with two. But he's pretty mellow about it, and he doesn't like to deny me anything, certainly not something as important as a child. I sometimes get annoyed that he isn't as enthusiastic or interested in parenting as I am, but I realize now I should just be greatful that he's willing to support me in what I want. I will definitely hang around to see what happens with you guys! I really hope you get a little girl(or two!!!).

So I picked up dh last night and I am so glad that he is home, even if it is short lived. We werent together for mothers day, so he said that my mothers day gift was that we were def. trying for a girl!!! YAY Now I can hold him to it and more then likely he wont change his mind!!!! I am so excited! I want to start now but today is CD29. July can not come soon enough!!!

I am so happy for you Soready! I only have two my days of Clomid then Saturdays is the OPK. Did you look at babymed dot com? Just wondering if you are going to use that to help with a girl. Lois my little girl is the same way. She loves to cuddle and curl up with mom. You will have to let me know how he does. Have you done anything to prepare him?

Lois4Kent - May 18

Mzwest - Not really, he's too young to understand. I think that's lucky actually. Older children who have been #1 for a while, are the ones that can have a hard time adjusting. I think about 2 and a half that starts. I've seen two year olds steal toys from young babies out of jealousy. I do have to adjust him to a new room though, which I don't think will be a prob as he doesn't use the room he has now. I do have to transition him into a toddler bed while the baby is in the basinette, so the baby can then go into the crib. He doesn't like his crib either, so that should also be easy. :) SoReady - Glad he's come around!

Lois - With my girls I just moved them from the crib to a twin. It worked out great and I didnt have to spend the extra cash on a toddler bed. Bella I think will do ok. She loves babys, unless her daddy is holding one. Well it is my last day of clomid and tomorrow I will start my estradiol. I hope I get pregnant this month. I only have one more month of Clomid and not sure what my doctor will do if I am not pregnant with this Rx.

I am so excited! But I hate having to wait! I have baby fever so bad and it is so hard keeping myself from buying baby clothes and stuff. I have more baby fever now then when I was prego with our son. Is it crazy that I am wanting to pick out names? I'm not going to pick out the names yet though because I know that if I pick out a little girls name, then I will have another boy.

I am getting really excited to. For me its next week we get to try. I am really hopeing to get preggo this time!It hit me yesterday that this time next month I will know if I am pregnant or not and if its twins. My doctor does U/S as soon as the test is positive with clomid. Its really got me excited because my hubby is more into it. He has been texting me names he has heard at work and likes. I have already started buying baby clothes. I wasnt going to but I went to Walmart and found a couple matching preemie boys outfits for a buck. So they came home with me! Then I went to a yard sale that the people had twin boys. So I got 3 sets of boys preemie pjs for a buck a piece. They also had two infant car seats with two bases and a stroller that they snapped into for 100. I pa__sed on it but i really wanted it. I thought like you if I buy it than I will get preggo with a single girl! I got preemie because all my kids even full term where small so I figure even if I do have a little girl no one is going to see her in the boys style cloths at night but me. This estadiol makes me so sleepy! I can barely keep my eyes open.

Mzwest - If you do get your BFP on this next cycle please dont get disappointed if your first u/s does not show twins. Several of the ladies in this forum didnt find out that they had twins until their 2nd u/s. This happen to Ashley, ask her when she found out!

Mzwest83 - May 19

I just want another baby. IF it is a single girls I will be happy aslong as she is healthy. But if I had my choice I would have a healthy baby boy. If it is twins then well I will be over the moon. I just want another baby. I will have to check out ashleys post. Thats my name to!

SoReady - May 20

So this is your second cycle! Werent you expecting it in the second cycle? I bet that this is your month! I am so excited for you.

Mzwest83 - May 21

Yah I got pregnant last time I used clomid on the second round. Maybe it just needs time to ge in my system. Who knows. Are you counting down the days yet? How is it going with your doctor?

SoReady - May 23

So today is cd2 and time can not go by fast enough for me. I will start clomid on my next cycle and I cant wait! I go back to my OB next week and she will finally tell me howw much clomid she wants me to take. Not that it will matter a whole lot being that I already have u/p clomid, just in case :) I was reading online last night and there are a lot of gender selection methods that are the opposite of the Shettles method. Most websites say that the Shettles method has never been proven, so now I dont know exactly what my plan is going to be. One method is called O+12 and it says that it has proof that girls are conceived 12 hours after O'ing. Boys are conceived 3-4 days before O'ing. I am going to ask my OB about it next week. How are you s/e this round? I hope that this is your month! Baby Dust!

SoReady - May 27

So I went to my OB today and to my surprise she is prego! 2 months ago when i saw her she did not have a belly and she was rather rough. Today she was very nice and asking me what she could do for me. I was b__wn away! Anyways, she wants me on 50mg of clomid cd 5-9. But I have decided to take 100mg clomid cd3-7 and 50mg on cd8 just to give my egss a boost. My OB thinks that I have such long cycles because it takes my body longer to mature the eggs. So i think that it wont hurt to give them a boost. Then sometime between cd12-14 I will go in for an u/s (to check my follicles) followed by an Hcg shot if I have at least 1 is matured. I should O 36 hours after the shot and then we should bd every other day. She said that bd'ing everyday does not lower sperm count. But bd'ing every other day would ensure a better quality of sperm. she said that the sperm need a day to rest! lol I cant wait until my next cycle. I am so excited. Time is going to be soooo slow! We also talked about multiples and she there is only a 6% chance. Thats kinda sucks! And she said that there is no proven method to help sway the gender of the baby.
