Krissy68- On thing I noticed this cycle is I have had a lot of yellowish colored CM. Tons of it! It would come out in globs. SORRY TMI! It was a good sign for me!

Today is cd2 and I am getting excited about starting clomid tomorrow. I am just debating if it would be best to take it in the evening. I usually do not get any side effects from medications but the s/e that I have heard of with clomid kinda scares me. lol I dont want to be moody and mean to my dh. DH still does not know that I will be taking clomid. At least if I get hot flashes my dh wont think anything of it. Being that I am hyperthyroid I am always hot! So for my 1st round I am def. taking 100mg cd3-7 and I might even take it on cd8-9. I am debating about the extra 2 days. I guess I am gonna wait to see if I have ny s/e first. lol I am taking baby aspirin every day, and I have also started "the girl diet." I only have to do that diet until after I am done bd'ing. Then a week before O I will be taking cranberry tablets. On cd14 (7/21) I will get an u/s and the hcg shot. I am so excited. I am trying for a girl so in addition to the above, my dh has agreed to take a hot bath before we bd for 3 days after I get the hcg shot. I also found a recipe for an acidic douche that I am considering. But that would only be done on the 3 days after I get the shot. Oh, I have also cut all caffiene out of my diet. I have only had maybe 3 caffienated drinks since June 1st. I am doing a combination of the Shettle method and O+12 method. According to the Chinese conception chart and the phases of the moon during conception: I should have a girl. Can you tell that I want a baby girl really bad? lol When I write out everything that I am doing this month it sounds kinda crazy! lol Oh well, If zI dont do it and I get a boy then I will regrete not trying. At least if I still have another boy I can be satisified knowing that I tryied everything other then sperm sorting. I already asked dh and he said "NO." :( I guess we are just gonna have to gamble with it. Mzwest - Do you end up doing Shettles method? What did all do? Krissy - How's everything? Did you test today?

hey ya'll...i am so happy to find a group like this and know i am not alone... So what seems to work the best for everyone getting twins? from what i read it was 100mg form days 3-7. SoReady- I kinda did the shettles method. For a boy it says no s_x for 5 days before and then 12 after positive OPK.I could not wait 5 days! Sorry! I didnt have s_x 3 dayas before and then the day after. About the douche I found one for a boy but desided against it. I read it can cause infection which then could take months to clear up. But that is a big COULD. I didnt want hubby to change his mind while I was getting it taken care of.

laura - Welcome! There are a number of places online that you can get u/p clomid from. I got mine at mexmeds dotcom dotmx and I am sure that it is the real deal because there are several other ladies in these forums that bought it there and they got prego. I am doing 100mg cd3-7 to try for twins. Most doc's will first rx 50mg cd5-9 because it produces better quality eggs. cd3-7 produces more eggs better the quality is not as good so that can effect rather or not they actually get implanted. The choice is yours. It is kinda a gamble. Is the Chinese Birth Calendar the same as the Chinese Conception chart? I have used the Chinese conception chart on myself and friends and it has always been correct. Right now mine says that this month I will conceive a girl. I really hope so! Krissy - Sorry to hear about the BFN. When are you testing again, Saturday or Sunday? I couldnt wait because I am too impatient, I would be testing every day. Mzwest - I read online about the boy and girl douches. I think that the boy douche wa a baking soda based douche, and that sounds horrible to me. I dont know that I would do it if I were trying for a boy. The girl douche is the juice of half a lemon and the rest water. That sounds ok to me. I doubt that a little lemon juice and water would cause problems. My only reservation is I have never douched before so I am afraid that it will be weird.

Soready- Yeah the boy was baking soda and I just couldnt do it. The lemon and water doesnt sound to bad. I douched when I was younger after my AF would come just to make me feel fresh.But I kept getting infections. My doctor told me it was from Douching. I stoped and never had one sense but like I said the lemon does not sound to bad.Just make sure its warm before you do it or it will make you jump out of your skin!

thanks ya'll... yea i plan on trying to loose some weight. but for me the chinese birth calendar or coneception chart isn't boys tell Jan. of this coming year... So I think i might try that and the having s_x the day i "o" and try that... So do ya'll know how many when so far that have writen in the group have had luck getting twins? If you are wanting a boy then you try looking up the "boy diet." I am sure that it is a diet that is rich in sodium and pota__sium. (For a boy) the idea is to make your body as alkline as possible. Most of these diets say that you have to start them way in advance but that will depend on your body. Itested my diet out a month ago and it only took 2 weeks which is perfect timing with my cycle. . . . . Anyways, you are also gonna have s_x in a deeper penitrating position such as doggy style. Does you dh take baths or showers? Men who take baths are far more likely to produce girls because the hot water weakens/kills male sperm faster then it will female sperm. Having healthy cm will also help produce a boy. mzwest said that fish oil helped her so maybe you cn try that as well. Or you could try Mucinex, that is suppose to break up cm so that it is easier for sperm to swim through.

Hubbys military. we have 1 boy and 1 girl.. but hes military and works on the NUKE subs so (( from what they say )) it does a number on there CM. Hes going to Day staff job in Sep. So i wanted to give it a couple months of him away from the NUKE stuff to get his stuff back to normal... LOL Poor guy i think he would kill me if he know i was writing all this stuff out... LOL but anyways, I am hoping for boys cus I have always wanted 4 or more.. and know if we have boys he will let me have one more girl... My husband is so good to me... LOL But either way i would be happy but i would love to try for a boy then I know I will still have a chance to get my girl or have one more baby in the long run. Plus the baby I lost a year ago was a little guy... so i think that will make me feel alot better. I just got so depressed after and put on some weight... laura - My dh is in the military also. OK CM is cervical mucus (your dh doesnt have this. lol) I dont take fish oil or mucinex because I am going for a girl. Ask mzwest, I think that she has done both. But yes they are both over the counter. I have heard that sailors on subs tend to ONLY have girls. Something about it damages the male sperm, but they will come once they are not exposed anymore. If you ttc now then more then likely you will have a girl. It's funny that you say that but I hav only met a couple of women whi got twins. They are not as common as people say that they are. And the only person that still hangs around here that is having twins is having 2 boys! I would love 2 girls. I have 2 yr old and he is a hand full. My dh does not want anymore boys. Niether do I. Now that is what I am given then I will love that baby just as much as I love my ds but I know that I will be a little depressed at first.

Hey girls I just wanted to let you know that AF found me this morning. Thank you all for the support. I will be using clomid this time around. Not sure if I will be taking it on cd2-6 or 3-7 I have a dr appointment on July 27 to see what the next step will be. Have a great weekend. Krissy68

LOL Know u have any trouble getting tri-care to cover the meds. my doc wont give them to me... she really wantes us to try and do it nutral... shes really in to the natural stuff. Thats why i was looking on line to what i could pick up. do u know if tri-care covers on line orders.. i was thinking not... LOL So when did u start trying honey?
