soready and mzwest - reading you two describe your hubbies/att_tueds is like looking at my hubby... the irony that kills me is that if we were all 16 using the pull out method - we would all have been pregnant the first month! life is so weird...it sounds like at least with your husbands they have some amount of interest in the idea of another baby. mine has zero, but he didn't want any and is a doting father to our girls, so i know in the end he would be fine. good luck to both of you - i hope you can talk your hubbies around so that this will be a happier event for all of you. as for me - if i decide to go for pregnancy #3 it will have to be without his consent. oh, well... i will keep scanning the posts and hoping to see big news from both of you!

LisaJanelle- I know all to well about he being 16 thing! I used a condom both times I got pregnant with my girls at the to young of age of 14 and 15. Now I use the pull out and nothing! If you dont mind me asking How did you get prego with your other children? Is there any way you could do the same thing?

Ok so I am alittle freaked out right now. My doctors nurses just called and asked me to come in. The doctor wants to see why I have not gotten pregnant yet. I went in January to get my script. I have been filling them because I was going to double up!We will see what happens. Who knows maybe he will tell me to take 100mg!

lisa - keep me post on how things go for you. It is always nice to hear that other peole are in the same boat as you are. We can be each others support!

mzwest - This could work to your advantage. Maybe he will tell you to double up, that will give you a better chance of twins. Does he want to give you the trigger shot? That would pin point your O.

Just got back and he doubled my Rx!! He did not say anything about a trigger shot.

I wanted to see what you thought about this. Should I start clomid now? I mean not really try to get preggo but just get my body use to it. Who know maybe we would have a accident.

mzwest - well, both of my pregnancies were surprises - the first we were using condoms during the time that i figured i was fertile (only about 3 days a month - i had no idea how long sperm could live!) so along came daughter #1 - very happy surprise. then a couple of years later i was on antibiotics for bronchitis and didn't read the pamphlet that came with the antibiotics and along came daughters #2 and #3. only one of our little twinners survived. it is so wrong to outlive your child. so now i am contemplating a third pregnancy but very back and forth. i have a lot of fear surrounding the idea of pregnancy now. i would love twins again, the only reason my little one died and my survivor was born early was due to twin to twin transfusion syndrome. i REALLY believe had it not been for that my body could have carried them just fine. so if i get the guts to try to get preg with out hubby's consent i will try for twins either by clomid or by trying to emulate the same situation as far as getting preg right off the pill when supposedly you are more likely to conceive twins. we'll see 1. if i get brave enough to try again 2. if i get twins again. honestly though, whatever God gives me is fine. just hoping for a healthy full term out come. can i ask you was it hard to try again after having your preemie? were you very scared of something bad happening again? so ready - thanks - i will keep you psted and hope you will keep me posted too! i really hope it happens quickly for you! take care

To be honest I was to stupid to be scaried to have another baby! Both my oldest were unplanned by me, planned by my loser boyfriend. I was 14 when I had my preemie and 15 when I had my second. ( When he found out I was having another girl at 6 months he took off. Saying he could only have boys! He now had 6 kids by 4 different mamas. He was also 20 when I was 14. My husband has raised my girls since they were 2 +3 and adopted them a few years later.) It was a hard to descide to try for Bella because I was old and already had a mc a few years before. When did you have your twins? I know When I was pregnant they gave a progestrone shot weekly that I think helped me carry to term. i started to go dialate when I was 27 weeks, got the shots and delieverd at 37 weeks.

If your insurance will cover it, why not ask for the trigger shot? At least you would know exactly when you need to take advantage of your hubby!

As far as taking clomid now, if my hubby was gonna be here I would but he doesnt know that I am gonna take clomid. Are you superst_tious at all? I dont really know if I am really superst_tious but I am gonna do everything I can to conceive a little girl and twins. I dont know if there is any merit to this but I read that there is a link between sunlight and ovulation. Being that the days are longer in June then any other month, more twins are conceived in June then any other month. On the flip side, December has the shortest days of the year and by far the least amount of twins conceived. I dont want to tell you to wait any longer then you have to but the best chances of O'ing multiple eggs is when clomid is taken cd 3-7. Thats when I am going to take it. I've never had twins but I would like to conceive them this summer. lol Twins run in my family: my grandmother was a twin and she had 2 sets of twins. I am really hoping that the first month that I try, I conceive. i dont know if that will happen because my OB thinks that I got prego with my son because I was switching birth control. I am irregular so she said that she would give me clomid but she is taking her sweet time. I recently bought u/p clomid online and it looks like I wont get it in for at least 21 days. (That counts this month out.) I dont know what dosage my OB will give me but I plan on taking 100mg on cd3-7 (OB said cd 5-9). Then if I get some provera I think that I can time O to when my dh gets back from deployment! Thats when I will take advantage of him!!! lol

mzwest - I am a little confused. There is this lady (actually she's not much of a lady but anyways) that my dh and I both hate but we tolerate her because she is married to one of our friends. Anyways our kids were playing this morning and she brought up me wanting a baby (again). She is always asking me when are we having another baby and saying that we juts need to get it over with. Everytime she is around my dh (i feel like) she is putting pressure on him to have another baby. Anyways, today was the second time that she has said that my dh has told her that we are gonna have another baby. This makes no sense to me either 1.) She is lying and she just wants the attention or 2.) He told her that (but I cant see him telling someone he hates that and not telling me). What do you think? I have never known her to lie but she can bend the truth a little. Is this false hope or what?

Well I highly doubt he would tell her that. BUT maybe he told her husband? I know when my husband gets news about a couple we know he comes and blabs it all to me. I would take it as good news!! Yes I am very superst_tious !! I heard you can get prego faster when you are in the sun. Not sure how true though. I wanted to wait until June to get preggo but with my cycle I will O Roughly the end of May and very early July! So I am not sure what to do. I promised my hubby we would not try until June. So I am on CD3 and took the clomid. maybe it is because i am superst_tious that I am takinging it one cycle early. But it took 2 cycles to get pregnant with my last one. I am not tellingmy hubby i am taking it and will use the withdraw method. Dont think I will get prego.

Clomid is suppose to help regulate your cycle anyways so maybe month 2 will be in June! I dont have a chance in June cause hubby wont be here but July (crossing my fingers) will be my month! The night that, that lady is referring to when my dh supposeingly told her that we were gonna have another baby, she was the one that went up to him asking questions. I will, however, just hope for the best and take it as a positive sign. Maybe my dh is just too stubborn to say the word "yes" to me. I guess we will see what happens. Are you nervous about not telling your hubby about the clomid?

I hope I get preggo by July! i did use the birth chart and it said my best chance for a boy is June. I will be happy with a girl or one baby but just kinda crossing myfingers for more. My hubby knows I will be taking 50mg next month. He he knew I was taking more he would never have s_x with me again! I am alittle scaried that if something was to happen that he would not know. But my doctor knows I am taking it so its all good! Where is your husband stationed? I have tons of family in thr army

mzwest - i had my twins in may 2003 - they were due sept 2003 (conceived in dec 2002, so i didn't follow the more sunlight thing... who knows...)i figure what i may try for is waiting till aug or so to try again. go on the pill for july then drop it and try to get preg right away. debating whether to go for the clomid, as this is for sure my last try at pregnancy (i am 37), but hubby would know since it would show up on the credit card bill at one of those online pharmacies you can get it u/p. not sure how to get it so he wouldn't find out. any ideas?
