mzwest - i had my twins in may 2003 - they were due sept 2003 (conceived in dec 2002, so i didn't follow the more sunlight thing... who knows...)i figure what i may try for is waiting till aug or so to try again. go on the pill for july then drop it and try to get preg right away. debating whether to go for the clomid, as this is for sure my last try at pregnancy (i am 37), but hubby would know since it would show up on the credit card bill at one of those online pharmacies you can get it u/p. not sure how to get it so he wouldn't find out. any ideas?

My sister uses pre paid criet cards. She just goes to walmart and puts money on one. You can use it any where

Have you thought about that? mzwest - I have been looking at the chinese conception charts online, which one do you use? have you looked at the charts based on lunar age? I'm not worried about my dh not knowing that I will be taking clomid because it will be for such a short period of time. The only thing that would worry me is if this time around he decides to go to my prenatal appt.'s with me. With our son he only went to 1 appt w/ me because (in his words) "I want to make sure that there is only one in there". lol So I would have to say that if he knew about the clomid, he would sleep with me. lol

Didn't you order yours? If you did don't tell the doctor!! That way your husband will never know you took Clomid. With my daugheter I was high risk so I got a U/S every week and hubby went to every one! So if it happens again my husband will not think twice if the doctor askes about the clomid. Are you getting nervous about taking it yet? How much did you order? So I took mine yesterday at noon. I took it in the evening last time and only had ( that I remember) a slight headache and hot flashes. This time my doctor said to take it in the morning. ( which he has it ordered for 3-7 this time and the nurse warned me that alot of women who are put on this have twins and not to take it unless I can handle that!) Boy this time is rough! I am questioning if I can still continue! I was fine all day yesterday, just some mild hot flashes. Then when I went to bed had a small headache. This morning though!! My stomach is turning, I thought I was going to catch fire and I had a migraine so bad I thought about ripping my eye ball out to relieve the pressure! I took some excedrin Migraine and it has helped and am planning on going to get some tums or something.I just want to go to bed and sleep it off but can't.

My clomid stury: I'll try to make a long story short. I went to me OB and she said she was gonna give me clomid because I am irregular. (She was going to start it in April/May) She was getting more information about my medical background and decided to wait on giving me clomid (she knows my dh is being deployed) so she can get more information. Now I dont know if she has changed her mind about giving it to me or if she is just waiting until this summer. Either way, after reading everyones post I have decided that I want to start off taking 100mg. If she does give me the clomid (then I will also be getting the hcg shot) I can up her dosage to 100mg by adding the u/p clomid. If she doesnt give me the clomid then I will just take the u/p clomid. I bought 30 50mg pills online for $45 including shipping. I'm not getting nervous, I'm getting excited. It sucks that I will probably have to wait until the end of June to take it. I was thinking that I might try it in May before my dh leaves but (for the 1st time in ages) my cycle is ending earlier then it usually does and is throwing off my schedule. Today is cd31 and it looks like af will be here by tomorrow night. I am sorry that you are having s/e. It is probably because you are on a higher dosage and being that you are taking it in the afternoon, you are not sleeping off the s/e. I will probably take it at night. I dont tend to have s/e with medications but I stay at home with our son all day and I cant afford to have those types of affects while watching him. Dont feel bad about taking it w/o your dh knowing. Just use the pull out method if you dont want to risk an "accident" this month. Then next month tell him that you have to start taking it because you dr is asking questions about why your not pregnant yet. Just tell him that you dont want to tell the dr that your not taking it yet but you dont want the dr to think that you have a more serious problem getting prego. Serious problems can cause lots of money. Maybe he will give in.

I think that he will be go for next month. I have thought about telling him and see what he thinks about me taking them this month. The s/e have started to stop. Not as sick but still on fire. I understand about not being able to afford the s/e. I am a stay at home mom to so m poor baby has been stuck in my bedroom with me most of the day. I wish you could start now! Or take it next month and try! That would be aswome! Is there anyway you can light a fire under the doctors b___t?HOw you thought about what would happenif you had more then twins? Its rare but does happen! I dont know what I would do. I would prob have to have my mother in law move in! Last night I started to think and window shop on some baby things. Like I found a twin crib and a twin high chair. I have alot of double things aready due to keeping Bells things and having second items for my parents house.I think I will be good. Just need cribs and if I have a boy new cloths.

OMG . . . just for giggles I asked dh if we could try in May when he comes home for a couple of days and he didnt say no. He is acting like it is a "yes". The only thing that would suck is I will probably be somewhere between cd28 and cd32 when he comes home. I would have to light a fire on my dr in the morning AND she would have to agree to give me provera. i think that I would have to take provera in about 2 weeks in order to O when he is here.

Also, I am sure that she would start me at 50mg not 100mg. I only know of 1 person who has conceived twins on 50mg and that is Ashley2121. i want twins so bad. I ahve been dreaming about them lately. i even thought about trips. But that's not what I am aiming for.

If my OB decides not to help me because it could be unethical then I am gonna have to wait until I get my u/p clomid in the mail. It has already been shipped but it isnt scheduled to get here until the end of May. knowing the military postal service it wont get here until June. i dont want to try w/o clomid. i want twins.

I am trying so hard not to get excited right now because I can see it in his eyes. He wants to say YES! I just dont want to set myself up for a disappointment. If he were to change his mind right now, I would be so depressed. If I got prego in May, I would have a Feb. baby, unless it was twins then I would be looking at Jan. babies. I almost want to want until July just so I can have spring babies. Does that sound bad? i know that if I get the chance I should jump on it before he changes his mind BUT I want to go all out with this. I want twins, born in the spring, and I want them to be girls! lol

soready - i agree with you on the spring baby thing - honestly i think it is more practical. after having a preemie and worrying about germs and such spring is a healthier time of year compared to winter. also, my first daughter had colic and i don't know how i would have made it through without stoller walks. can't do that in january! the earlierst i would even consider tying is in june. i am actually (if i follow my normal cycles) going to ovulate on my bday in june and that might be sort of fun to concieve then. my twins were allegedly conceived on my hubby's bday in dec 2002. where are you stationed? good luck with your hubby - it sounds like he is caving in! mzwest - thank you for the idea of the prepaid card. that is a great idea! i have a friend who said i could have it delivered to her house so my hubby need never find out about it.

Lisa - I shouldnt say where we are stationed overseas, because of operational security. I have already mentioned approx. dates for deployments and returns (oops), which I shouldnt have done. We are in Europe though. I have always wanted a March baby. My son was a summer baby so we were always doing things outside when he was born. If I get prego this summer then they will be almost 4 year apart. So, I have been trying to bribe my dh for a couple of months now in exchange for another baby. There is an expensive purchase that he wants to make and I told he that he could do it if started trying for my little girl. Last night he was calling dealers online to get all the purchasing information. :) I asked him if that meant we were "trying" and he would just smile and say "I dont know!" I think that I am gonna take that as a "yes". lol

Soready- That is so great!! I think he is ready to ttc!! Start picking out eh baby crib! LOL! Lisa- So does this mean you will be ttc in June? That would be great if you did we could all be ttc around the same time. I completley agree with the spring baby. Not so much for the colic and stuff but for my own selfish reasons. I get BIG when I am pregnant and am always hot and uncomfy. I have been prego in the summer with all my pregnancies and hated it so if I get preggo in the summer and am big i and hot in the winter I will feel so much better. Here in ohio it is common for the summer to be over 100 and the winter to be below 0! As for me I feel better with the CLomid. May be my body just needed to get use to the high dose. i didnt take my prenatals and folic acid last night also so I might just hold off on them while I am taking clomid. After a few to many drinks last night ( which for me a non drinker is not that many!) I told my hubby I was taking the clomid this month to help regulate my cycle before we start trying but if he wanted to start now we could. His reaction was not what I thought it was going to be. He said I dont want any more kids. It was like a knife in my heart! I just walked away from him and found some other things to do for the next hour. Washed the one plate in the sink, picked out bells cloths for the next day or so. I asked him again and he said that is not what he ment. he is just not sure this soon is good. As bad as it is we will be ttc the end of may the first week of june if he knows it or not! LOL

mzwest - I know all to well how you felt last night. I still have to worry about my dh changing his mind between now and then. I will probably be in your same boat! If my dh changes his mind, like it or not we will be trying this summer. My OB is suppose to be calling me this week and like all the other times she was suppose to call, she hasnt. I think that I am gonna try to get her to give me the provera so that I dont have to order it.

So, of corse, the moment that I say saomething bad about my OB she calls. Now I have to eat my words! She is putting me on clomid and she is going to give me the trigger shot. Unfortunately, are timing will be off this cycle because my dh is leaving so I will have to wait until July when he comes back. BUT I am so excited that she is finally 100% on board. My OB is young so maybe she was just being cauious.

I wish I know what my dh was thinking. It would make it alot easier. Either he is on board or not. He says he is but then soes something to make it seem like he is just saying it to make me happy for now!
