Twins run in my family, and twins run in his. My mother has Fraternal twins, and so does his. Does this increase our chances? I've read the male's family has nothing to do with it. Is there any truth to this? Does that make his sperm stronger or anything? ha! just kidding. But, i would just like to know what my chances are for having twins.

If your mother had fraternal twins (without the aid of fertility drugs) than you have a higher chance to have twins than women who don't have twins that run in the family. Does that make sense? Twins that run in your husbands/bf's family will not effect if you have twins. His sperm doesn't determine if you have twins. You either have to drop more than one egg.

Yes, my mother did have twins without fertility drugs. I wouldn't mind having twins. My husband and I only want 2 children, so i'd be killing 2 birds with one stone. Thank you Megan. You've been very helpful.

That is the worst excuse I have ever heard for someone wanting twins! Please God you don't fall pregnant with twins because you sure as hell wouldn't deserve them

you have a good chance of having twins but remember the chances are low even though higher than those in who'se family no twins run....
there are herbal options you can choose to enhance your chances....so do read up on women using herbal aids to conceive multiples...
there is also the controversial 'unnatural way to ehance your chances using fertiltiy drugs but try and chat to your doctor who should monitor you and mabe will be willing to look after you provided he has helped prescribing them to you...doing it without prescrition and monitoring you will be taking huge risks not just for yourself but your family as well healthywis e and if so maybe aldo legally???...i wont be biased and two faced i have done so...but it took me a year to come up to make this decision, the laws in my country are also as such that i would get help even if something should go wrong so you need to find out about alot of thing and educate yourself well......also know all te risk and take full responsibilty...if you do choose to do something so risky you may get more than you bargained for and this could not necessarily mean good stuff....don't take whatever you do lightly and blindly...be 1000% sure you know what your doding and what you are letting yourself into good luck....

I sure as hell would deserve them. Who the hell are you to tell anyone what they deserve and what they don't? No one. I don't know you, i don't want to. That's just one more ignorant person. I for a fact am not a prude and i DO have a sense of humor. Unlike yourself. Have you ever heard of the word "Sarcasm". Ok, well, that word.......... is what i was being. I was being Sarcastic.
