my opinions were based on what i have seen happen, and also i had a chat with a dr who has been in the proffesion for 20 year plus. n e way that dnt matter i was just letting u know what i have experienced in my own family. whats being a mum got to do with it i am also a mum and i have also had a c section i have been told for my own piece of mind that a second c section may be the best option so thats what im doing whats the big problem.

Wow, you sure picked a hot topic and it seems so many of you are 6 weeks right now. I am actually 19 weeks and have done my fair share of poking around the second trimester and asking questions. I got this bright idea that the people in their first trimester might have questions that maybe I could answer...so here I am. LOL I started showing to me before I knew I was pregnant. At 7 weeks I was rubber banding my pants. At 10 weeks people that knew me started asking me if I was pregnant. At 12 weeks I bought maternity clothes. To date I have put on 5 pounds and when people look at me they know I am pregnant. I don't get asked if I am, I get asked when I am due. I know we are all very different and every baby is different. Don't be worried if you are not feeling morning sickness yet...it often hits around the 6th week on. To answer your question...yes 6 weeks is two months pregnant. The third month is 9 to 13 weeks along, the fourth is 14 to 17 weeks and so on. Good luck ladies through your journey as we all are ever changing. Our babies are on the way!!!!!!

I am so glad I'm not alone. I am 6wk with my 3rd but I look like 5 months. I didn't show until 7 months with my 1st 2 and was getting a little worried. Already had a scan so it's not twins. Hope I'm not huge by 9 months. Good luck to all mommies out there :)

Gemma, I feel the exact same way. I keep thinking that booking a section would just be easier and safer but at work everyone keeps a__suring me not to be so concerned. I was also told that if you create a labour plan saying you wish not to be in labour longer than so many hours, or if there is no progress after so long or you have repeating problems through labour the same as your first to demand a section befor it gets dangerous or into an emergency situation. I also was told if you are induced your chance of another section is very probable. Then you hear experiences from people you know and I know 2 people who have had successful VBACS and preferred them. I just want to make the right choice you know? I really found a section affected my bond with my son in a negative way and It took a long time to get over postpartum depression and establish that bond with him. I just read that if your first section was from failure to progress your chance of a repeat section are 45 %, that's pretty high! That was why I needed a section plus he was so stuck. Why did you need to have a section?

gemma - November 3

i need a section cos the babys heart beat was dropping with every contraction and i was only 5cm, i was sore after my section for a week but not that bad i had no depression and no probs bonding straight away, after going on that about pregnancy website i have decided to have a section, no more children then for at least 5 years ha.

Gemma I've heard of that before, my mother said she had the same thing when she was expecting me and had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks. P.S- I've decided to have another repeat section too because I am petrified to go through the same thing all over again, NO THANKS. Let us know how you're feeling and what's happening with you all right?

Since I'm so big.. Ive questioned how far along I really am.. Did anyone have their period the first month? I haven't had any exams yet.. just calculated my duedate by my last period. how possible is it that I still had my period when I was already pregnant?

Shannon - November 8

Its very possible. My friend had hers for 3 months and she was pregnant. It was lighter than usual, but she still had it. I myself didn't have it at all with this baby, but when I was pregnant before I had my period for 2 months and I was pregnant.

Gina - November 8

Like I said, my stomach is bigger .. I have even felt some fluttering .. I've read a few places that if you have your period and you are pregnant , a hpt can still come out negative.. has anyone else heard this??

marie - November 8

I cannot believe that no one has asked their doctors about the weeks. If you know what day you got pregnant on then you add two weeks before that. So if you got pregnant exactly two weeks ago today then you add two weeks in front of that which makes you four weeks. us women are physically only pregnant for 38 weeks So if you don't believe me and you know exactly what date you got pregnant on and you have a due date, then count back 38 weeks from your due date and it will take you to the day you got pregnant on.
