Yippee...new thread...good to leave all those sorrows behind...although I did read through it yesterday...its amazing how much we have all gone through since February....how exciting 12 weeks and counting...can't wait for another update...my next appt. is on the 25th when I go for my Glucouse test...yuck...so 12 weeks...is that 3 months?

Hi Ladies! Happy Wednesday….Yah!!! Instant upload! Yeah, it has been a roller coaster the last 7 months but glad you two were there with me! •••••••• KRISTINE: 12 weeks... WOW! That is awesome. 13 = 2nd trimester. It's just around the corner!!! Sorry to read about the m/s. I empathize!!! I am still on Zofran the anti-vomiting meds. But I have cut way back from 2 pills a day to 1/2 a pill. I cannot believe that I have been on meds since I was 8 weeks. Time sure does fly by. When is you due date???•••••••• COOKIE: I will be doing the GD test on the 22nd just a few days before you. I hate needles and my mom and her sisters have diabetes so I am scared to death of this test. I will have to bookmark this page. Ciao for now.

I'm sorry ladies. I am on two new threads and I forgot to enter my email for notifications. My appt. went very well. DH and I heard the hb!! It was surreal. I still can't believe I am a third way through. My due date is 3/30/07. Remind me again of your due dates. What are you doing about leave from your jobs and daycare? I have 18 weeks of vacation and sick time coming to me as of this month. I hope the boss will approve me being off for that long.

Kristine: Glad your appointment went well! My due date is:12/07/06, but I keep telling everyone it is gonna want to come on Thanksgiving, LOL! 4-month worth of vacation/sick is awesome. Hope you get it off too. I am a contracted artist so I work most of the time from home. So no matter what I have to work --- otherwise I don't get paid because I don't have paid vacation or sick time. But I do get to work from home so that is a bonus that I can be home with the baby. Anyhow, gotta run... DH is cleaning the carpets and I am suppose to be helping. I am having a baby shower on the 23rd and his grandmother's will be in town for it so he wants the house nice and clean since one of them has never seen our place in the 2-years that we have been here. h girls, glad to hear you heard the hb..its such a special sound...my due date is 12/16....I just realizedd I'm seven months and not six that i kept telling people..lol...which means now I'll get even weider looks because people thought I looked small for 6 months....i'm sort of bummed today...we started painting our living room and found out there is a leak or something and some of the dry wall and wood behind it is soaked through and mildewy....the people we bought the house from covered it up with a curtain rod which we had used until now...i'm not sure the extend of the damage...but we sooo don't have the funds for this now..oh well...as for me...since I work for such a small firm we don't have "maternity leave" or actual vacation time...although my senior partner is pretty generous (i've taken a few vacations this year for a week or two at a time)...I will try to stay home for a month..then work from home and work thereafter...I live around the corner from my office, and I can bring her in if I need to (though I really don't want to do that too often or i'll never get work done)...its all up in the air...and I figure I'll keep working until my water breaks..lol..I have a 4 day trial with a calender period from late November to Dec 22...so hopefully the Judge will schedule it earlier so I can be there for the whole thing...can you imagine if my water breaks while i'm in Court...lol...how funny...

Good morning ladies, My sil (the one who is the same weeks as me) ended up in the ER early this am. She woke up and her sheets were wet. She used the bathroom and clots were coming out. She was sure she was miscarrying but when she got to the ER they did a scan (her first one by the way) and they saw a strong hb and the baby was moving. Then they told her the cervix is closed but loose. She has to be on bedrest until she sees her regular OB tomorrow. The ER doc said the fluid level was normal but she is questioning her damp sheets. I feel really bad since it is a Sunday and she can't get into the OB until tomorrow. She's got a 5 and 3 year old who are a handful. Her DH is hleping and so is her mom. Based on what she told me maybe she has an incompetent cervix. I told her they could possibly st_tch it up.

oh kristine, your poor sil..i'll keep my fingers crossed for your family....

I have an update but it's complicated. The doc told her the loose cervix was normal (sounds suspect to me from what I've read) BUT there is a bleed site between the sac and wall. They said the hope is that the sac will grow and make the bleed site go away. He gave her no technical term for this condition which is frustrating. She has to be out of work for the rest of the week and they will repeat the u/s in a week.

Hi girls --- I just realized last night that my week is going to be VERY BUSY until Monday the 25th, so I might not be able to write in as often or at all until after the 25th. Check this out --- Looks like I might have to go to a clients today which is a 30 minute drive into the Capital of NV. If not today then definitely tomorrow. Tonight I start my childbirthing cla__ses --- that should be interesting and hopefully DH & I will met some people. Wednesday night I have a BBQ dinner to attend with DH since it is a Thank You to all the JR Rodeo volunteers which was back on the 1st weekend of August. Thursday DH’s Maternal Grandmother and Aunt will be arriving into town, Friday DH’s Father and Paternal Grandmother will be arriving into town as well --- on top of me having to go to the Lab that morning to take that Gestational Diabetes blood test --- I am scared of that test!!!!… then on Saturday I have my Baby Shower which my Mother, Grandmother and Aunt will be coming into town for as well that morning. Then until Monday I have to entertain everyone!!! I can see how I might be very tired come Tuesday of next week. AGH!!! •••••• KRISTINE: Sorry to read about your SIL. That must have been really scary for her. And for the doctor not to really give many answers is probably frustrating to say the least. My thoughts go towards your family. •••••• COOKIE: So sorry to read about the water damage. Unfortunately things happen at the least unexpected times and just flat out the WRONG times !!! Babies R Us do have nice furniture sets – that is where I bought my crib and other baby furniture. I am sure you will find something that fits into your new budget. ALSO, I am a little confused. I thought how far along your are goes off of your EDD. So if my Due Date is December 7th, Then on September 7th I just turned 6 months and October 7th I will be 7 months. Which in turn if your due date is Dec 16th then you just turned 6 months on Sept 16th. I am about a week ahead of you. Also, I just turned 28 weeks on September 16th. I have the “What to Expect” book and it goes by a 10 month pregnancy and not a 9 month pregnancy like the OBGYN’s do. It states the 1st month you find out your are pregnant is month 1 even though you are only like 2 weeks pregnant. Anyhow, if you are going off of the book then yes you’d be into your 7th month with 3 more months to go. I just tell everyone that I am 6 months pregnant and will be 7 on Oct 7th. Hope I didn’t confuse you!! Welp chicas hope I find time to write in, but just wanted to let you know how busy I will be and might not get to write ya until next week. Until next time, TTFN.

I found the technical term. It's called subchorionic hematoma and the odds are in her favor thank goodness. I started a thread to hear others experiences. This site is so helpful. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I go for my 18 week u/s on 10/25. Not too far away!

Hi again, I'm off to the hospital for a u/s of my bladder. I've been having trouble peeing for the past two days. At times, it comes out in dribbles and very slow. With me havign only 1 kidney, they want to be on the safe side. TTYL

Kristine --- hope all is well. Please keep us updated. Maybe it is just a UTI. Keeping my fingers crossed it isn't anything serious.

hi girls, Kristine I hope all went well at the hospital...I actually spent most of my day at the hospital too...I hadn't felt Mackenzie really moving since the weekend and the past few days have been really quiet, so I called my dr's office not thinking much, but they told me to go to the hospital to get checked out...so now a stress test and u/s later...turns out my amnionic fluid on the low side...should be at the lowest 5 to 20 and I'm at 6.5 and she is breach...but it was so great to see her...she is practicing breathing...and she's got my husband's nose...I have to go back again on Friday to have another set of tests done to make sure the levels aren't going down...but it may be that I'll end up with a c section if there isn't enought fluid for her to turn....oh well...now i'm beat...I had a 7 am breakfast meeting 1/2 away, and tomorrow I have an 8:30 hearing an hour away...never a dull moment...hugs :-)
