Hi ladies, I had my monthly appt. yesterday. It was very quick, just a hb check and I was on my way. What should I expect for my 24 week appt? Aren't they supposed to measure my stomach soon? I always forget to ask these questions when I'm there. I guess I am so nervous every time I go to the OB, I forget. She did mention the glucose test at 28 weeks.

Hi --- sorry I have been MIA lately. Life has been very busy these last few weeks to say the least so sorry it has been about a week and a half since the last time I wrote in! Everything went well at my OBGYN appointment today. My Blood pressure was 128/80. But it looks like I gained 4-pounds in the last 2-weeks so I am up to 36 pounds from Pre-pregnancy weight. Must have been all the Halloween candy…. It is so addicting! Baby's Heartbeat was 150 bpm and my belly is measuring perfectly. I am 36 weeks on Thursday with 4 more weeks to go. How did time fly by so fast? I will be going to the doc's office weekly now and next week they want to check my cervix to see if there is any dilation because this is the home stretch now.... Count down has begun…. 29 more days to go! How scary is that??? ••••• Kristine: My doc's office always measures my belly from a far back as I can remember. You should ask at your next appointment.... and good luck with your glucose test. Hopefully you pa__s it the first time around and will not have to endure the 3-hr test like Cookie and I did. ••••• COOKIE: how are you today? Hope all is well. Welp, I have some major clean up chores to get done in the house since I have been to busy for 1.5 weeks. Take care and will talk to you when I have a chance.

I hear you about being busy...i'm working flat out 6 days a week I don't know how i'm going to get everything done before baby....it's been a horrible month...oh well...i'm 35 weeks today, and my baby is really starting to drop....kristine, my dr didn't start measuring me until I was about 28 weeks....so I guess each dr is different...i'm really not sleeping too well anymore, Michele are you feeling really c_mbersome? Mackenzie ends up laying in what ever side i'm on so when I move she moves over to the other side...it's a weird feeling...my floors are finally going in the baby's room today...so hopefully by this weekend we will have her room done...I have baby luncheon this sat so I hope I get a few more items of my registry before I need to start buying things...big hugs ladies :-))

Hi ya ladies. Happy Thursday.... this is the 1st day I have actually been able to relax in a really long time. It is so surreal! I put a new belly picture on my website this morning. Mind you my hair isn’t brushed so I look a little spent, but it could be from me working way too much lately – who knows. ••••• Kristine: My mom would really appreciate the comment, thank you. My little, chubby Italian Grandmother is the one on the Left and the other 2 are DH’s grandmothers. I took that picture when they were all here for my baby shower in September. I thought I might as well get a great picture while I can. ••••• Cookie: My problem is that the baby always seems to be on my right side… so my belly looks like it is lopped sided. She was very active yesterday… don’t know if she is trying to make room since it is so crowded in there.

Happy Monday ladies. Don't know if you have the holiday day off, we had it Friday. This weekend I have felt more movement but it's still subtle. I felt he/she do a small flop-like movement. It was so wild. I can't believe how close you two are to having your little ones1 COOKIE, how as the luncheon?

Hi girls, no holidays for me, I was in arbitration all day yesterday...I don't think I'm going to be able to keep this pace up for much longer..Mackenzie is seriously running out of room, and my b___bs are sooooo sore...worse then 1st trimester...and now they are leaking...lol...well at least I know they work...Kristine, its so great to hear how your little one is doing sumersaults..lol...getting some exercise...Michele, how are you feeling? I'm going in to see my dr today, I was supposed to be starting my weekly appts now, but next week i'm in trial until Wednesday and their office is closed thursday and friday...so I'll skip a week...i'll be 36 weeks on thursday...yah it's almost over...I hope she comes a little early I would like it if she came the 1st week of Dec instead of on the 16th...but it's up to her not me...

Hi girls, well yesterday I had my appt. and Mackenzie has dropped but she is measuring small so my dr wants to do a sono on friday...apparantly they are pretty booked but he overroad it and insisted I be seen (hope that is not a bad sign)...he didn't say anything to me about it...I also got reprimanded that I can't go next week b/c i'm in trial...so I have to have my 36 week appt. on friday as well...but the kicker is the dr only sees patients in the morning and the tech is in the afternoon...so I was able to get the latest appt with dr. at noon but my u/s isn't until 3:30...and it's 45 minutes away from my work and home so I'll be stuck down there...i'll take some work with me so hopefully time goes by quickly...well gotta dash, I'm doing an adoption, and the baby was born last night...so I need to go to the hospital and deal with the paperwork...toodles

I plan to work up until my due date as well. The good thing is March won't be as busy as other months so I won't face those challenges you are facing Cookie.-On another note, did you feel on and off flutters? I havne't felt uich today and it makes me nervous. When did you feel hard kicks?

I really didn't feel consistant movements until around 25/27 weeks...and they say you shouldn't really start counting kicks until 27/28 weeks...until about 25 weeks somedays I would feel her alot, others nothing...also when I went into the hospital around 27 weeks when I didn't feel her for a few days...she just had her back to my back and the movements and I just couldn't sense it...your baby is still pretty small so it has alot of room in there and is probably enjoying lots of movement and you just aren't noticing it...how far along are you now?

Hi girls... just a quick write in... The reason I have been MIA for the last few days... I gave birth to Alexandria Samanta on Monday morning (11/13/06) at 7:55 am. She was 3.5 weeks early. Anyhow, by the time I got to the hospital at 6 am I was dialated to 8 cm and then had to wait about an hour for the doc to show up before I could start pushing. It took me about 45 minutes of pushing and Alex was born. She weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and is 18 inches long... Sooooo... I was drug free and did not have an epi of course.... I didn't even know I had gone through Transition. I asked the nurse when transition is... and she said "Honey, you already went through that a long time ago!" I had no clue. Labor was not that stressfull as I had imagined. I have some pictures of her 1st day at: Alex.119west.com ---- will write more when I have some more free time. Ciao for now.

Tears of joy stream down my face!!! I am so happy for you Michele. We've all been through so much. I wish I could give you a big hug and thank you for all you've helped me through, the both of you!!!. Well one down and two to go as they say. :-),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Happy Birthday Alexandria.

In all my excitement I forgot to go and look at the photos! Well they are just gorgeous. What a little princess. And she was b___stfeeding not long after delivery! I hope mine latches on that quickly. I am again so very happy for you.
