well all you can do is wait to see if AF arrives late, maybe you ovulated late.....wait another week to test...If it comes out negative and you still haven't gotten AF, then I would consult your doctor to see what is going on. At that time they could do a u/s to see if you are pregnant or not, that would confirm it for sure..Also, there is nothing you can do about a miscarriage, if it is going to happen, it is going to happen, there is nothing you can do to stop it., sorry.

thanks, tammy for your response. I have a scheduled blood test again on thurs and then we will see what will happen. I still feel pregnant but I am not getting my hopes high. Anybody have any ideas or questions?

this is a question i also have. i have been pregnat 3 times before, and i have always had symptoms about a week before my period was due. i've always taken urine tests too early and ended up with false negatives. urine tests always showed up postive a couple days AFTER my period was due. now, i started my last period on august 22nd, and had unprotected s_x on august 31st. which, since sperm can live for up to 5 days, would make my chances of being pregnant pretty good. the other morning at work, i started feeling very nausous and was dry heaving for about half an hour. i've had nausea since then. i went for a blood test yesterday, which was negative. but they did a quant_tive test, which only tells you yes or no, based on what they consider to be a minimal hcg level. but i've read that quant_tive tests can be based on a minimum of up to 25, and some urine tests can detect hcg as low as 20. so that would make some urine tests more accurate than a quant_tive blood test. im wondering since it had only been 11 days since the unprotected s_x if it was just too early. should i wait and take a home test next week?? im almost certain im pregnant. i remember what it feels like.

question, had a blood test done 6 days before my period is due bye the doctor too see if i was pregnant before he was to give me pain medicine never heard back from it so I take it I am not pregnant now I am 3 days late for my period and I am never late. Was the test done to early or is it still accurate having it done that early.?

you maybe not have even implanted yet when you got the blood work done. id take another test now, it should be accurate.

well everyone I am taking a another blood test tom. I still feel pregnant, infact I feel very nausaus and if I touch my stomach it feels yucky. Wish me luck! If it comes back negative, what should I do? What another week or start first dosage on progestrone to bring on another period. i just think something would be wrong especially when I am 2 weeks late, no period, and have been taking 3pills of clomid for 5 days back in august.

hi - my story is 3 weeks late & neg blood & HPTs. I'm confused to the drs. comment did not ovulate when i know i did because i got a positive result when using the OPT kits. that is when i knew to bd... of course i could've also ovulated again later in the month & probably conceived then too... my blood test was when i was only 12 days late... maybe i'll try again after the month is over to try again. how can i ovulate but still have no period?

Hello, eveyone. I took my blood test today and had a negative result again. It looks like I will have to start taking progestrone again to bring on a period. Anyone here used anything else besides clomid to pvulate. Please let me know.

Hi, All I am so happy I found this forum. I have been going through a lot of the same things lately and thought I was going crazy. Here is my story. About three weeks ago, I started noticing some b___st tenderness. Though I have never experience it in the past, I just though it was PMS. I must mention I have irregular periods since 16 and I am 32 now. However, I have finally got my prolatin level under control about a year ago. But I still wasn't having periods. They ruled out PCOS. So I’m stumped. I had a menstrual in December 2006, but nothing since plus had unprotected s_x two weeks after. It didn't bother me because I know I am irregular. But then the symptoms came, I first thought it was PMS. After a week of no period, then I started getting headaches and very nausea. I could not even go to school or the doctors, I was that sick. So I took five home pregnancies test--all negative. However, I know my mother never tested positive, she didn't find out she was pregnant with my brother until she was five months pregnant. Long story short, I’m been having these symptoms for three weeks now and no period. I get cramps, and veins are starting to show on my b___st. Some are even popping out. I even get a tingly sensation. Concerned about the pains and cramps I went to the ER and my blood test came back negative with levels at 0. I started crying felt like a death to me, because I was so sure I was pregnant. The crazy thing I didn't want to be pregnant, but after the persistent symptoms, I accepted that I was. Then for the test to come back negative--I was devastated. I have been so depression and thought my prolatin level when back up, but Monday I found out they were better than ever. Now my symptoms are getting even worst, even more veins. I feel like I’m going crazy to think that I can still be pregnant, but a part of me thinks they were wrong. But I’m thinking how can I get a 0 level and still be pregnant. I wonder what can cause these symptoms, especially the veins. I think if it wasn't for that I could let it go, but I can't. A part of me wants to ask for an ultrasound but I feel the doctor is going to look at me as if I’m crazy, plus I scared to keep having wishful thinking just in case everything come back negative again. I hope I prove them wrong because my b___sts are so sore that I can’t barely drive. If I am preggo, is it possible not to be showing at almost three months? I am a plus size girl.

bigred07108, what did you find out? I am in exactly the same situation. I had a negative blood test, but no matter how much I try to convince myself I'm not pregnant, the symptoms won't go away.

Hi everyone. It seems I'm actually one of a pretty big crowd, though I had REALLY hoped that at least THIS aspect of my life would be "normal", that is, getting pregnant. I am going on 8 weeks (meaning 3 1/2 weeks late for AF). I'm like clockwork, every 25 days or so when I'm off the pill; when I was -on- the pill of course it was 4 weeks. I had a negative hpt on day 32 and didn't want to do another and waste money if it's still neg. Did a blood test a few days ago (at 3 weeks late) and it was neg. I was shocked, I was so sure I'm pregnant. My symptoms: mild cramping all the time, sharp pains in my side (which I've read can happen right around 7 weeks pregnant), brief moments of nausea/dizziness, acne, and of course being LATE. I'm trying not to falsely convince myself, make my mind play tricks on me.... Going to doc tomorrow to try and figure out what's up with me, if in fact I'm not pregnant. But after reading all these stories, I can still be hopeful that I am. Still, that makes me seriously wonder about the quality of care this country has. Will someone please put the "care" back in "health care"? In the meantime, I guess I'll keep taking my vitamins and wait for AF, and also ask the doc about taking progesterone. Ok so since June 22nd I have been experiencing lots of pregnancy symptoms! And Im starting to feel like I am losing my mind, My husband and I are not TTC so this came out of left field. I have been on Birth Control for about 4 years and My Doctor has me stop taking it on about June 25th. She thought this was the cause of my pregnancy "like" symptoms. Before I stopped taking the pill my period came 1 day early for the first time ever, it was always on the same day and even same hour. After I stopped the pill my period was one day late, and now it is 4 days late and no sign of it coming. This is so irregular for me! I actually first went to the doctors on June 25th because I was experiencing ALOT of Nausea, Dizziness, indigestion and very sore nipples for 2 weeks. The symptoms subsided for about a 1 week and a half after I stopped taking the pill so we thought it was that. Then I started my period so thought ok, it was the pill, then my period stopped and that next day all my symptoms came back, then I also had indigestion all the time. My doctor ran every stupid test she could possibly think of and I even had an MRI because of the dizziness! Nothing everything came back terrific she said, so my doctor had no explanation to my symptoms and still doesnt! She chalked the dizziness up to "dehydration: I drink atleast 7 gla__ses of water a day! and I dont drink pop either. So when she ran those tests she also took a blood test it was negative. And ive taken 4 HPT's and they have all been negative. I dont want to feel pregnant but I do! Now Ive gained about 3 lbs and my tummy is starting to get sorta of a "bump" I fee fat ! but only in that one spot, I havent gained weight anywhere else, and now My left nipple is sore (just one this time) I have never had sore nipples until that last time for 2 weeks and now Im having it again, also im getting those "bumps" around my nipple, my husband was the one who noticed them. I just dont know what to do !! I feel like im going crazy! I feel pregnant but the doctor says otherwise and has no explanation for my symptoms!!

Well my last period was on November 06/07 i had s_x on the 19 of November i took a blood test on the 26 Which came up neg now i can't have s_x because i am getting extreme cramping can i still be preg?

Thanks to all the ladies who shared that they have had negative blood tests and were still pregnant! I just got a negative result and I'm 2 days late....Hopefully I'll be able to add another positive after negative tests to the list soon! :)

Thanks to all the info.. I am 11 days late and have two negative HPT and blood test. But have been going thro mild headahes, cramping since last one week and fatuge. Any chances iam preg inspite of the tests???

I am so fed up..... I'm coming onto 10 days late... I have taken 6 first response tests, and this morning I went to get a urine test at the hospital... NEGATIVE.. so I go see a doctor at the clinic asking for blood tests, THE IDIOT sends me for MORE urine tests... This is so frustrating... I want to know if Im pregnant.. I don't want anything bad to happen because I don't know for sure im not.. why is it so harD?!?!? I don't even want to get blood tests because this is so discouraging.. I KNOW im pregnant... I just started my morning sickness too... and the PROFESSIONAL doctor says to me, No ur not. I am pretty sure I know my body... he doesnt... IT makes me so sad.. What should I do?? He wont even give me a note for an ultrasound to be sure..I want to make sure everything is ok..what if im pregnant but having a miscarriage or something???
