My 3 week old son has an odor coming from his left ear. I only noticed it last night. Today I saw drainage coming from that ear. Is this something to be worried about?

yes your baby may have an ear infection...take your baby to the doctor as soon as possible

if you frequently prop bottles up while baby is laying down they are more prone to ear infections because the liquid is likley to come out of baby's mouth and drain into the ear. The odor could be sour formula if you do prop the bottle up. I have never known of an ear smelling from an ear infection. I have had millions of them and never had an odor.
