I haven't had much activity on here, but I've already received emails from prospective birthmoms. However, I'm wondering if they're scams or not. How can I tell? Any advice?

I think the most important factor is communication between the adoptive parent and birthmom. If you can't meet right away, you can request a recent photo, maybe have her took a photo with your name you'll know its not a fake person and she'll really pregnant. Even if its an open adoption you can still request adoption agreement.
I know this cos I am a birthmother and is willing to do this to prove legit.

Are there any expectant mothers on this forum that are not scammers? I don't want to waste my time here if I'm dealing with scammers from Cameroon.

I have been looking through this website for 3 years now, and maybe 2 or 3 postings have been true, none worked for me though. Good luck to everyone except the scammers. God bless. Getting ready for foster care.

reverse search the email or phone number via google. I am finding scams as well.
