Babysitting During The Day

I would like to start babysitting during the day to make some extra money and to stay home with my newborn son. I just don't know how to get started and how to get people what do I do?

iam a babysitter. i have almost 10yrs ecperience. But i have been babysitting in my house "seriously" since june. Thats when i was able to rent a house. I started by putting adds at the grocery store, and then newspapers. It;s cheap, and it works good. but before any of that, you need to call your town and ask the limit your aloud to have without a permit. And also set a price. (parents like day price, instead of hourly) and set times also that you want to work. (i do, 5days/week from 6am to 8pm) and because of the long hours, that how i get my business. try to call a few sitters in your area to see the prices they charge...and charge a little under them so you get strated. Looks at where the kids will be napping & playing. make sure you have toys in all ages. and also a plan of what youl do with your days. parents ask all these questions and more.
