Thank you all... Renee: I've called lawyers here and in this state they are for the companies they told me.
Kelly, I did add up my lost wages for the year and 2- 3 months to look/get a new job.
I was told the company would never pay this amount ;however EEOC said they would submit it to them. Haven't heard back yet. This amount is just my wages and nothing for pain and suffering that this has caused me and my family alone and not saying if this had any effect on my unborn. I even applied for unemployment during this time and was tuned down due to my ex employer stating I was let go for " claiment was forced to leave most recent work because non-work related health reason, claimant was released from DR care with ligting restrictions of 20 lbs. Claimant is not yet able to perform usual duties." So I was even turned down for unemployment. I've been a very hard worker and how for something like this to happen is just unreal. I pray this doesn't happen to any one else.

OMG I hate to hear stuff like this. Welp, I was let go of two weeks ago as well and my son is 8 months old. I was told I could go on part time (I did NOT ask for that schedule) but they offered it to me and I accepted. They told me to just "HANG IN THERE" until they got a fourth office person in, and then I could change. Well, they hired the new person and got rid of me. The reason - because (according to them) I SAID I COULD ONLY WORK 3 DAYS A WEEK. Keep in mind, I've been at this company for over 6 years! Where has all the loyalty gone? They set me up to fail. They offered me something they never intended to give me. I see the world through much different eyes now. I feel as though I've been initiated into some sort of club I never knew existed. Working Mothers have it so hard - I always heard they did - but you will NEVER EVER know just how bad it is until you become one. I'm so sorry Mommy2. Chin up. (I should take my own advice).

I am so sorry to hear of your misfortune. I too, am going through the same issue. Once I submitted my doctor's not with lifting and weight restriction, THAT'S WHEN THE TABLES TURNED, after my bosses told me to my face they'd accommodate once I became pregnant. Then they back doored me! I wasn't fired, but I was told to go down to my union to see what they could do for me. I was really upset and hurt. I worked for this company for 6years. I am going through really bad depression because of this. Large corporations do not care about their loyal employees. My union rep sat down to discuss this whole issue with my Superviser, and still the company does not want me to work pregnant. I want to continue to work until I am not able to work. Mind you, this is my second child. I worked upto my due date with my son at the same company (different shift ) I am not going to give up on this matter. Anyone reading this, that is going through the same issue please provide me with some insight. I am trying stay positive, and not let my 4yr old see me down and upset. Anyone please comment. Thank you.
