Has anyone had a UTI while trying to conceive? Does having one hurt your chances of ttc? I spoke with me gyno and she said that you can get them from increased s_x. I have to go for a test tomorrow and if I have one I will get medication. I just wanted to know if the infection or medication will interfere with ttc. Thanks

I have gotten quiet a few UTI's just make sure if you do have on that you tell your Dr. you are ttc and if you have the infection they will put you on a medication that is not catagory C. So the medicine will be safe for baby if you did get pregnant. And you can get them from increased s_x. Try going pee right after s_x that may help reduce the UTI's. Getting a UTI was my 1st sign that I was pregnant will all 4 of my pregnancies. So be sure you are not already pregnant.

Thanks so much for yor reply. I am late with AF and my Gyno said to test next week if I don't get it by Monday. That would be great if I am. My gyno called and confimred that it is a UTI and gave me medicine that would be ok to take if I am pregnant. Thanks again.
