ok i was wondering for anyone that sells stuff on ebay do you have to claim any taxes and how does all of that work?

I think you are supposed to claim it, but I don't! I think I may have if i made a considerable amount of money though. You should be able to get some answers about that in their "help" section.

I've sold on Ebay, but I don't pay taxes. Why pay them if you're not collecting them for the sale?
Unless you earn thousands, I doubt the IRS will ever care.

The government is giving eBay a few years to figure out a way to apply taxes to the sales. Right now, unless you sell a TON I wouldn't worry about it.
