Hi jen33 I just had twins 11/25/07 My doctor took me out of work at 28 weeks just because I was a twin pregnancy. I stoped working 10/1 and was due 12/24. My short term disablity kicked in and paid me until 8 weeks post pardum. I return to work next week. You also have the family medical leave act whish alows you 12 week w/o pay in the U.S. so I don't think they can do anything to you.

HI Jen! Where do you live first of all? here in the UK you could potentially be sick the whole of your pregnancy but as long as you work for a short time before your maternity starts (I dont know how long for sure) then it wont affect your maternity at all.
