Is it true that the older you get the harder it is for a woman to have labour? I'm 25, and i was talking to my mother about pregnancy and stuff.. she told me that the older you get the harder time you will have in the delivery room!! she said she was 18 when she had me, and i was a real easy pregnancy, she was 32 when she had my little brother, and she thought she was going to pass out!! She had such a hard time having him!! lol... well.. i just want some more birth stories if you don't mind! I'm VERY curious.. hahaha

i was 20 with my daughter and was in labor for hours (actual pushing portion of labor too). I wouldnt call it a easy labor.

I didn't mean it like she never felt it or anything... of course she did... Some people have a easy pregnancy like my mother, but she said the older you get, the harder it is.. maybe she just wants to be a gramma now hahaha.. her and my father always talk about how they wanna be grandparents now.. ohh my... i knows i'm gunna have her move in with me if i do have a baby..LOL

lol.......good idea on having her move in with you. I dont have any other kids, but i am pregnant now, i will let you know how it goes during this labor since i am 3 years older hehehe.

I do know that younger women seem to have a shorter recovery time since their cells regenerate faster. It all depends on the circ_mstances of a woman's labor: the baby's size and position, as well as the physical fitness and body type of the momma. I would say that labor would probably be easier for women who's bodies were in good physical shape, and I know that biology is in favor of younger women's bodies being that way. It doesn't make sense that age would make a difference, unless time has taken it's toll on your body. Does that make sense?
