how much would you say i would have to save to buy all my babys essentials for example cot, pram, clothes etc and how much should i keep in the bank to use when the babys born? your recomendations please :) xxxx

It depends on where you live and what you consider to be essential. We spent $150 on a stroller/carseat combo, $200 on a crib, probably around $200 on clothes. No bottles since I b___stfeed; we were given a Pack n Play, so I didn't have to buy one of those; so...I'd say...plan on spending about $1000 before the baby, and have at least the money for 3 months' bills saved up for after the baby.
