I had my first at 21, my second at 25 and now my third at 39. I can say from experience that, for my own personal choice, the mid 20s were the best. I don't think I was too young at 21, but I felt more confident in my body and my own maturity at 25, and though I'm not having any complications at nearly 40, my body definitely isn't what it used to be, especially in terms of abdominal muscle tone. I have a constant stretched feeling up in the rib cage and feel heavy all the time, at just 5 months. I had natural childbirth both times and am going to try it again but I honestly wonder if I can do it this time. Fingers crossed!

thanks for sharing your experience! i am aiming for my first and will be 37 at the soonest. most women i know won't even consider trying until they are 30 but now i am one of these people saying don't leave it too long. we started trying last year when i was 35 and have had two miscarriages. good luck with your pregnancy.
