The Time Is FINALLY Almost Here

Well, I am so excited!!! I finally got my husband to pin down a time that we will start trying for a baby. We have been together for 7 years, married for 2, and I am so ready to be a mommy! We live in California where everything costs a ton, out rent for a 1 bedroom apartment is more than $1000.00 a month, not to mention the fact that our car insurance is $300.00 a month! He has been very hesitant because of the financial aspects of raising a family. But we finally decided we will start trying in about a year for a 2007 baby! Yea!!! I started taking prenatal vitamins and I just went and got a full physical and exam. I am going to try to be as healthy as I can be for the next year so I will be in top physical condition! Finally, there is an end in sight!!!! I can't wait!!!

Why are you taking pre-natal vitamins if you aren't going to try for a year?

My doctor told me it is good to start taking them quite a while before trying so you have all the right vitamins (especially folic acid) built up in your system. Plus vitamins help make you healthy!
